Carnival Australia & New Zealand Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

First Cruise on Carnival Splendor since Covid, bit of step back from Celebrity Eclipse few weeks back, but hey the price difference says it all. This was a transferred from a transfer etc from Covid so I was happy Carnival gave us spending money so we could sit back and have some drinks etc. yippie. I think it is easier just to list what I thought was good and not so good. Good - ...

Fall Break Cruise

My wife and I took a nine day cruise up the Australian coast departing from Sydney. Biggest port of call was Cairns and a couple of smaller places in Queensland. My biggest error was selecting a cruise right dab in the middle of a school semester break resulting in hundreds of kids joining us on the cruise. While the ship officially holds about 3100 folks, a couple of times the announced number ...

Don't buy an Apple Watch on the Cruise!

Our experience with Carnival was very good, that's why we decided to go on 10 Days cruise around Pacific Islands - march 2023. Cabin, food, restaurants, was all as we would remember from the previous experience. Entertaiment, however - very poor, nothing good, boring and cheap. We purchased an apple watch (another remainder to ourselves - not to buy staff like this on the ...

So I decided to do a three day cruise for my 60th Birthday with my friend, overall cruise was good. Staff in the dining area were very good so was the food and most staff friendly. We were in a spa Balcony and enjoyed the perks very much, variety of food in the Lido was minimal but the pizza was amazing, our cabin 1016 was clean and tidy although cabins are cleaned once a day only. TV was so ...

We were looking for a relaxing short getaway where we did not have to drive, or make too many decisions. The idea of having a short cruise with everything included was attractive to us. We saw the cruise offer on the RACQ website and it seemed good value, considering the time of year(Feb 2023). We understood that the weather this time of year could be unpredictable but we’re prepared to take ...

We choose this ship because we were under the impression that it had been newly renovated and the itinerary it was our first Carnival Cruise, been on quite a few cruises before, but really couldn’t see where it had been renovated, rooms very dated and old looking we thought we would spoil ourselves and get a Suite 7312 what a mistake the room was a lot bigger but the lounge was converted to a ...

Carnival Spirit review 12-11-22 Boarding pretty good, smooth and fast except for a long wait sitting at one point in the process. 10 am check-in time but not onboard till 11. Cabin 5231 Jay our room steward very nice and did a great job. Room ok but both of us hit tv shelf with head ouch. Thermostat difficult. Cabin Door very very heavy. Nice bathroom, good counter and ...

NZ cruises are normally a lot more money, so we jumped onto this. FOOD was good and varied with USA style bbq and Chinese being very popular also great grilled sandwiches. Beer is reasonably priced when you purchase 6 in a bucket @ 7.50 each. While spirits a bit expensive @ 12 or 13 dollars ea. Good entertainment for a budget cruise. The theatre has room for small drink tables and was quite ...

We are past Carnival cruisers and Celebrity and Holland America. We picked this cruise for value and convenience. That said I have to say: not what we expected. If we knew these tips we would have been prepared. Con: We got two flat hard pillows. Felt like a stack of towels. Only 2! Ask for better pillows right away. We couldn’t get into our cabin until 45 minutes or so after the ...

Breakfast, eggs bennies always cold, no bacon available most of cruise limited choice compared to RCCL and P&O, water at buffet ran out as well as ice most of the time. No breads to choose from maybe a few slices now and then and butter must have been rare as hens teeth had to ask most of the time and it was in a small tiny dish and whipped it was rubbish. Two x4 slice tosters good luck on ...
