Carnival Alaska Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

The decline of service

This cruise was in celebration of my husband's 40th birthday. We repeated this cruise from 8 years ago and were quite excited to take our daughter back to the last frontier. The negative: We opted for a balcony room but were recommended an "obstructed view" by not only our travel agent but a Carnival representative as well to shave a few dollars off the total. Our first concern was the view for ...

Awe-inspiring Alaska!

Our cruise began and ended with easily the smoothest, quickest, and friendliest embarkation and disembarkation we've ever experienced. The Legend is a clean, lovely ship with an easy layout. Food was plentiful, but often less than attractively presented. Dining staff were efficient, but disinterested. Stage shows were entertaining and well-done; comedians were only so-so. We loved the unusual ...

Seattle is a beautiful City! I highly recommend planning some extra time and seeing the city either before or after you leave. The port in Seattle is the most organized port I have been to so far! Please note that I've only sailed out of Galveston and New Orleans, but this cruise port is very well put together, and there was no confusion on what to do or where to go. The staff there in the ...

This review is based on our actual experience. You may have your own opinions or read others that may differ. The Check In: We were greeted at the airport in Seattle by a Carnival Cruise representative who directed us to a holding area. Our luggage was taken and were told it would be at our room. Let me tell you something. Carnival Cruises has check in down pat. We loaded a bus, went to the ...

We had a great time on our vacation. We always make it a point to have a good attitude no matter what little things we may not have liked. The itenerary was great. We do wish we would have had more time in Victoria Canada. Train ride in Skagway is a must. In fact loved every port. Sea Days seemed long and we felt there was not enough entertainment during downtown other than board games and games ...

I just turned platinum so I have been on many carnival cruises. I was worried because I saw so many negative reviews about the Legend. We had a great experience. The food was probably some of the best I've had on carnival ships. There are a lot of posts about the bad decor..its odd but it didn't bother me at all...The ship was clean, our steward was great. Our waiter was a little stuffy...not ...

Just a Little Disappointing

We have been cruising with Carnival since 2005, generally taking 2 cruises a year. Due to schedules and availability, we had cruises on Royal Caribbean, Holland America, and Princess between our last Carnival cruise and our recent cruise on the Legend. It was very evident that things had changed since our last Carnival cruise. We sailed on the Legend, May 29, 2018 from Seattle for Alaska. We ...

Embarkation in Seattle: We had a check-in window from 11:30-12:00 but arrived at 11:00 on the shuttle. We asked if we had to wait but were told the times were intended to space everyone out but were not enforced. That was clear when we got into the main area of checking-in. More on that later. We had cruise and travel documents reviewed three times during this process which was totally ...

The Cruise from Hell!!!!

We were very excited about the cruise as we had not been on one & it was our 30th year anniversary. Getting from the parking lot to the ship after parking our truck & camper was a breeze as was our return. However, we paid a premium price to park in a very empty parking lot that did not have at least an electric hookup for campers to keep the batteries charged while cruising. Things went ...

Before I start my review, I just want to say how sorry I am that I missed the Meet and Mingle with the Cruise Critic group. We were attending a presentation from the naturalist on board and just lost track of time!! Also, our weather was unbelievable. No rain at all - just sunny, pleasant days. I wore the coat I bought only twice! But, I will say everyone told us this was very unusual - to ...
