Our 1st cruise ever and now we're hooked on cruising!

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Caribbean Princess

First Time Cruiser • Age 50s

We choose Princess because it's the Love Boat and we both grew up watching the show. We wanted that same luxurious experience to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. Being on the cruise on our actual anniversary was desired and we wanted to go somewhere warm that we could fit into a vacation less than 10 days with travel time. So Caribbean Princess it was for a 7 day Eastern Caribbean ...

Summer caribbean cruises are a great way to visit beautiful beaches. My best friend had booked this cruise with her elderly parents. I decided to get a cabin for myself and another friend. After I booked this cruise, I read the reviews and I was not looking forward to this cruise. My expectations were not high at all. Embarkation was very easy, service was top notch all around, food was ...

Return to cruising after 3 year hiatus

Between COVID and my husband's worsening disability it had been 3 years since we cruised. We are Elite Princess cruisers and really missed our time on the seas. We purchased an electric scooter for my DH and off we went. Embarkation in Ft. Lauderdale was a breeze. By noon we had dropped off our carry on luggage and were enjoying lunch in the Reserve area in the Island Dining Room. ...

1st Post-pandemic cruise: Great though food & service are not what they once were

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Caribbean Princess

My husband and I have been cruising about once a year since our honeymoon over 40 years ago. Princess is one of our favorite cruise lines. We’d been on six Princess cruises before this one, including two on the CB (Southern Caribbean in 2013 and British Isles in 2017). We obviously love cruising, and our mindset is to enjoy the many positive aspects of cruising and not let the glitches ruin things ...

This 10 day Panama Canal cruise was our 59th Princess cruise. Although we have also sailed on two other cruise lines, we keep coming back to Princess. The Caribbean Princes is 20 years old. but well maintained and clean. There always workers wiping painting, and sweeping to keep it that way. The only negative item due to age is only one dual electrical outlet in your main portion of your cabin and ...

We recently returned from the 10 night Panama Canal cruise on the Caribbean Princess leaving from and returning to Fort Lauderdale. After reading some of the prior reviews, I was initially wary about going on this ship. I am writing this review to let people know about our terrific experience. The cruise couldn't have gone better. The ship and the cabin were kept very clean. The food was ...

Been a while since going on a cruise, first solo cruise in my 67 years and it was better than expected with a bump or two. Panama canal is an amazing feat of large scale engineering. Food is very good, entertainment was the best I have had in maybe 20 cruises in my life. Singing and dancing isn't my favorite but the production numbers I really enjoyed. Lots of corny events on at sea days, from ...

We cruise using a Club Class mini suite and It is wonderful. The room was clean, well furnished with a good sixed balcony, tub, and shower, All of the crew and staff that we interacted with were friendly, knowledgably, and professional. The cruise itself took us to 4 countries and four very beautiful places. My wife and I love western Caribbean cruises and Princess knows how to do them right. ...

This is our first cruise since the Pandemic. We had three cruises cancelled. We were a bit apprehensive, since so many reviews recently mentioned reduced staffing resulting in poor service. That certainly didn't include this cruise! My wife and I are Elite status with Princess, and this was our 20th cruise. We both thought it was the best we have ever taken. The service was the best we have ...

We chose Caribbean Princess to enjoy the western Caribbean; we chose or cruise in April and so glad! The ship was ready to take us away and forget about the last couple years of staycations, for a week- the staff was attentive and took care of anything we requested. Our dinners were delicious, the food offered at the specialty restaurants-superb, Horizon Court-good choices available at all ...
