Excellent Cruise

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Caribbean Princess

We chose this cruise based upon the location in the Mediterranean and the ports and we were very glad we did! Too bad we didn't get to visit Istanbul due to the American restrictions. This was our first Princess cruise on a small ship and we were definitely surprised on how much we enjoyed it. The food has always been over the top, but what we noticed right off was how much more we enjoyed the ...

Wonderful Cruise - Well Run Ship

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Caribbean Princess

My wife and I decided we needed to revisit a few of the European, and other ports, we had already visited. A kind of follow up. On this cruise I was able to check off three boxes on the Bucket List. The Vatican Museum, Pompeii and Venice, the St Mark's Basilica after hours tour. All were amazing. What has become very clear is that the excursion leader is as important as the excursion. All the ...

Beautiful Mediterranean

This cruise included the Amalfi Coast, Sicily, Corfu, Khios, Montenegro, Dubrovnik, Korcula and Koper, Slovenia. Each and every port was just beautiful. Before the cruise began Princess arranged for us to stay 2 nights in Rome at the Savoy Hotel. It was a wonderful hotel at a reasonable price. It was located within walking distance to the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, the Parthenon, and ...

Italy

2-5 Cruises • Age 70s

We had dreamed of going to Italy for many years and this cruise provided us the opportunity to see a large part of Italy for a reasonable price. The excursions were perfect and we stayed in Rome 3 days prior to the cruise and spent 3 extra days in Barcelona on the way home. We had some concerns about the possibility of a Ianguage barrier but the ship's staff and the tour guides made it all very ...

Very good time of year to go to the Mediterranean...starting at the end of August and ending in mid-September. Weather was perfect. Princess was the consummate host. We greatly enjoyed the food and the variety of ports we went to. The entertainment on board has gotten better and the service continues to be exceptional. I would recommend the itinerary we took to anyone looking to see a variety ...

Disappointment with Entertainment

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Caribbean Princess

6-10 Cruises • Age 60s

Embarkation was very good and well organised, the ship is lovely and clean, the staff very friendly for most of the bars and restaurants. The entertainment was awful and not what anyone other than Americans would call entertainment, this made the whole trip poor because wherever you went you were bombarded by really poor so called entertainment, this was compares asking guest to run around ...

Took the Eastern Med cruise. Had a great time with many ports of call. Each port provided transportation to where ever you wanted to visit. Our choice were antiquities and we visited many museums and ancient temples. Turkey's and Greece's Island were just great and the view from the mountains in Santorin were breathtaking. We did travel in Istanbul and the travel guide provide historical ...

Our first cruise experience - but first of many!

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Caribbean Princess

First Time Cruiser • Age 50s

This was our first venture into a cruise holiday and we chose this particular route as it enabled us to sail from Southampton which meant we had the first three days at sea which was perfect to relax and settle into the holiday. Getting on board was very slickly handled with no queuing, clear instructions and very helpful crew. The bags are taken from your car as you pull up so no carrying of ...

We have had a few princess cruises, and must admit that I was disappointed with the ship as far as the different size of the bars and especially the putting green. We had always had such fun on the deck after dinner, and enjoyed it with friends. But on this ship it was non exsistant. Far too small. The wheel house bar, by far our favourite one on princess, was half the size . It is such a popular ...

A Wonderful 2 Weeks

Review for a Europe - All Cruise on Caribbean Princess

The first time we sailed with Princess was back in 2000. It was our first cruise and we were hooked. Although we have sailed on a number of lines in the meantime this was only the second time it has been with Princess. We were travelling with our 13 year old son who is autistic and also has a lactose intolerance. He cannot always cope with large crowds or noisy rooms so we booked a min-suite ...
