Horrible Experience

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Caribbean Princess

I wanted to go to Greenland and am an Elite with Princess. It started by Princess refusing to tell anyone where the ship was docking. It only said Manhattan or Brooklyn. You had to guess which one. On thenpast they sent emails to tell which one. It was not in the app either. The they have anytime dining which to me means get in line and get seated in order of arrival. No they give reservations and ...

The staff were very friendly and willing to assist me and other guests lot during the trip. Especially the dinning hall staff (Pascaline, Kenya) was very friendly and assisted me when I needed directions. The entertainment on the ship was inclusive. The facilities were all very clean. The food onboard was very diverse and delicious. The shops carried a verity of different items. ...

Never Again!

Review for a Arctic Cruise on Caribbean Princess

We chose this cruise because it visited the western part of Greenland which was new to us. We are Elite and took a veranda room on 10. This was cruise number 110. It was the worst cruise we’ve ever been on. The ship was full to capacity which meant it was very crowded. Design of ship just is not meant for 3500 people. It was difficult to simply find a place to sit and have a drink at anytime. ...

Old ship and downmarket and very disorganized

Oh my so many things to say. I will start positive by saying that the staff in the coral dining room are amazing but the rest are quite inattentive and either not knowledgeable or not helpful. This cruise is not what I thought it would be. They have an app that you have to use constantly on board and it is super glitchy. It’s supposed to work do that you can order things and they find you ...

A solid cruise on a fantastic itinerary

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Caribbean Princess

We recently came back from a 10-day Canada/New England cruise from Quebec City to NYC aboard the Caribbean Princess. While the ship-related aspects were quite good—at times excellent—the itinerary itself made it perhaps our favorite cruises thus far and should be on everyone’s cruise bucket list. Plenty of details about both the ship and the ports in this long review. Background: My wife ...

Some good, some not so good

Embarkation was a breeze in Quebec city with the princess medallion. However, navigating the app was very frustrating. Ship was very clean and most of the staff was terrific. Bartenders were outstanding, but dining venues needed more staff and better organization. They have gone completely to anytime dining and you make reservations through the app, IF you're lucky enough to get the time you ...

Never again will my wife and i sail on princess cruises. I am age 51, this is my 20th cruise (4 princess, 5 ncl, 4 holland america, 3 carnival, 3 royal caribbean, and 1 celebrity) and this by far was my wife and i's worst cruise experience ever! It did not come close to meeting our expectations. The experience was so poor that while on this cruise we canceled an upcoming 7 day mexican riviera ...

This was a spur of the moment decision to take this So. Fl to Quebec Cruise up the entire Eastern US Coast and over all our experience was very, very positive. I was very surprised when I learned that the ship had over 3,000 passengers because it certainly rarely felt that way. We decided to eat all 3 of our meals at the Buffet which enabled me and the wife to get exactly what we wanted since we ...

Good cruise with some exceptions

We booked this cruise to pick up a couple of ports we had not previously visited, including Norfolk, Virginia, and Newport, Rhode Island. The cruise was smooth, although there was a slight vibration in some parts of the ship, including in our cabin. Not enough of a vibration to bother us. Issues: 1. The ship was late in arriving at Ft. Lauderdale (high winds in the DR, the previous ...
