Review for a Europe - All Cruise on Caribbean Princess

The ship is looking a little dated, compared to the Ruby we previously sailed with, but still an amazing 14 days on the Med. We had an inside cabin on Lido deck, which was a first for us, but it worked out well although I love a good book on the balcony. Food was ok in the main dining room, but with a child, we preferred to eat in the buffet areas. There were about 500 children on board due to ...

Very Good First Cruise

Having nothing to compare the Caribbean Princess with and reading some of the reviews, I wondered what I had let myself in for. All I can say l was pleasantly surprised. Sure the Ships is looking a bit tired but she goes in for a refit next year. From the moment of embarkation (which was very quick and efficient) to the point of disembarkation (the only let down) we could find nothing to ...

We travelled the first week of the school summer holidays, if you don't like kids don't travel in the school holidays!! There were a lot of teens on board but they were no trouble and all polite and well behaved, so what, they may have been noisey at times but they're on HOLIDAY. We had a mini suite on deck 9 it was lovely and clean our only probelm was the sofa bed my daughter had to sleep ...

14 Day Mediterranean Adventurer - First Ever Cruise

Our first ever cruise (probably not our last). This was an overall enjoyable cruise. We are a fully able English couple in our late 50s who, in the main, like to do our own thing. I'm not particularly social whereas my wife can talk to anybody. First off tips for new cruisers: Princess uses American power so bring a US to UK adapter and UK extension lead which you can use for all your ...

Arriving at the port was easy and boarding the ship. The cabins were ready by 12.30hrs and we were able to have a very nice lunch in one of the dining rooms. Entertainment for the first four sea days was not up to the usual standard, there was no production show, but it did improve during the voyage. I think there may have been a problem overall with the entertainment staff, Trivia Questions ...

The embarkation was a shambles. We had booked our first ever cruise to get away from Airport waiting lounges, a joke! Went from Queen Elizabeth 2 terminal. If her Majesty knew what had occurred here she would be horrified. One & half hours of grief in a queue!! That aside which put us off day one, the ship was our first experience & overall enjoyable. Our stateroom was really handy mid-ships for ...

I have just returned from a 14 night trip with my partner and in-laws and the Caribbean princess did not disappoint! There was only 1 let down which was with the embarkation process which I believe was the fault of the Southampton port authorities. On arrival to our state room we were promptly greeted by Dennis our steward who greeted us by name and was most accommodating when we requested ...
