Best cruise experience we've ever had!!!

The only reason we decided to do this cruise was because it was such a fabulous bargain. I mean $398 for a balcony on a 15-night cruise ... How do you pass that up? Add in to the calculations the $250 OBC for being a veteran, and the deal got even juicier. Finally, as an extra, extra bonus, they gave us each $100 OBC for the change in itinerary. We seriously debated whether or not to do such a ...

Many people cancelled this cruise when it was announced that the ship had a propulsion problem and would be traveling slower. They also changed the itinerary to accommodate this reduced speed. But I have to say that you really missed out on a wonderful cruise. We never had any mechanical problems and the ports were good, and the staff, food , entertainment, etc. were outstanding. We traveled ...

This is about my 15th trip with Princess and I stick with them because of their rewards program (generous) and their itineraries go where I want. The staff is usually very good and I like the large variety of food and times. The age group is usually one that is similar to me (55-70). I have been on other lines over the years but always come back to Princess....I fell they have a medium price. ...

DW and I just returned from the 2016 version of the Iceland Norway Explorer transatlantic cruise aboard the Caribbean Princess. We did last year's sailing as well and this year's cruise was just as good as last year's. This was our 10th cruise in a row on Princess and our 17th overall cruise. An added bonus was this was our first Elite Status cruise. Prior to the cruise, we had a very active ...

Spectacular Cruise

Cruise was going to Norway and Iceland before arriving in NYC. The ports were delightful to visit especially Iceland. There were a number of new ports for me. Norway was as spectacular as usual especially Flaam. The big disappointment was not being able to visit the Shetland Islands, which was the big drawing card for me. The seas were too rough and although we anchored, we did move on to the ...

Not sure of the exact date of sailing? We enjoy Princess. The only Problem is that this class of ship does not have a enclosed swimming area and on a crossing it was way too cold to use the pool area. Also Princess should really have COLD WEATHER gear for the staff in open areas when the temp is in the 50's with a cold wind! I felt sorry for them. The entertainment was OK not to the ...

This was our 50th cruise, the 22nd on Princess. Overall it was a great cruise, maybe not perfect, but no cruise ever is. Embarkation We started this cruise in Ft. Lauderdale, it was also available 3 days earlier from Houston. Princess had notified us that the cruise would leave at 10 pm rather than 4 pm as scheduled, but this would not affect the boarding times. Then bad weather hit ...

Mainly chose this cruise for the number of sea days, knowing it would be an older crowd. Also chose Princess, having cruised 20+times on a variety of ships and companies. The seas were excellent, the food was the best we have ever had on a ship, and no cruise company trains their people as well as Princess. Our room was immaculate, had VERY comfortable beds and small issues were addressed ...

We got a brochure that had an excellent price and a time frame we liked. We also liked that we could fly to Houston non-stop. The tips were paid by Carnival so that was another selling point for us. We also have wanted to see Paris and this was on the itinerary. The shore excursions that we went on were wonderful. The train ride from Hamburg to Berlin was excellent. The restaurant where we ...
