Chose this cruise for the ship and for the ports.
The Ports were great (be aware, Grand Turk excursions were cancelled) St.Kitts and St.Thomas were wonderful and the excursions were on.
The Ship - Ouch... Not ready to cruise. So the two specialty dining "Seafood and BBQ" located at the back of L15 were closed the entire cruise, we were not previously notified of this. The entire ship, ...
We chose this cruise as a test run, we are booked on a repo in Oct & decided we would see how it was to cruise. This cruise was out of FL, so we could drive to the embarkation. The price was right so we thought we would give it a try.
I will start out with the pluses. The ship had about 1250 passengers or 45% of capacity. There was never any waiting or space issues.
Embarkation went ...
Went with a group. Time with group was great. The new medallion tool and app caused me way to much stress. Only worked to open door and charge purchases on ship. Absolutely no internet, email or phone use. Missed a prepaid land trip as I didn’t get notice. My email and credit were hacked upon boarding. Couldn’t address while onboard, even on their computers. Cruises are to be stress free! We were ...
We always sailed Princess. I was excited for this sunny adventure. Princess truly let us down in their overbooking, understaffing and purchasing the lowest quality food. I don’t know what to say as I am normally raving about this line! We even hold stock in their owning company, Carnival and have done so for nearly a decade. No more. Time to sell as this line has dropped service standards as ...
Let me start off by commanding the crew who fought through adversity and came out shining. Kudos to all who worked on this voyage of so many things wrong.
We got into Ft. Lauderdale 3 days early to relax and do a little sightseeing - whoops - it rained most of the three days! But, we did have a great Valentine's dinner at the Old Heidelberg Inn close our Best Western hotel. The staff at this ...
The food was very disappointing on this cruise. The dining room food was so bland that we just stopped going halfway through the cruise. I remember the disappointment on everyone's face when one meal in particular arrived. I still find it hard to believe that they had the nerve to serve such a meal.
The buffet (World Market) was okay for breakfast and lunch, and some of the specialty ...
We chose Princess for the first time mainly for the ports of call. The trip overall was wonderful as far as the stops and the excursions we did, some we booked through the ship and others we chose once we got off at each port. The ship was a beautiful ship overall. The staff every where on the ship were exceptionally friendly, always greeting you with a smile as they passed by. Our stateroom ...
We chose this cruise because of the number of ports which were mostly impressive in the end. The embarkation process was quick and organized which was nice. The ship seemed older and offered less to do than we have been accustomed to in our other travels. The cabin was what it was - we don't book a trip for the cabin since we won't be in there much, but we did have a few issues with the cabin. ...

1) Entry to ship using Medallion App was great.
2) At 3:30 PM, Muster Station was a disaster. No organization. I was asked to sit on the floor at 70 years old! No one knew where to go. No seating for older people who could hardly stand or walk. Took too long to review from the time of arrival to the time of end.
3) At Palm Dining Room, we were charged for drinks but ...
First things first. The crew and staff on this ship are exemplary. I cannot fault them on anything. Especially our cabin steward - Jerry. That man is a true and pure gem. However, I can't say the same for one young man part of the guest services team - which I'll get to later. That boy needs to learn how to use a tissue and not the back of his hand.
Now on to the meat of it. Embarkation ...
