Ship was top notch but passenger atmosphere was lacking. Cruise dedicated to older seniors and ship was more like a retirement village with the entertainment to suit this demographic. The QM2 is a magnificent ship and looked so as we boarded in Cape Town. Embarkation was very slow and we noticed immediately there were few smiles.
