MSC offered a fly land cruise deal from Australia.
We had 2 nights at a game lodge in Kruger National Park, 2 nights at Victoria Falls and 2 nights in Cape Town before joining the ship.
The accommodation was excellent - a higher standard than I had expected.

This was our 5th cruise on the MSC Sinfonia which includes the South Bound, Genoa to Durban, Durban to Mauritius and back, as well as a few local Cruises and the North Bound from Cape Town To Venice. We actually prefer the longer cruises (14 to 24 days), as this is more value for Money especially the Grand Voyages.

We chose this cruise due to the fact that the departure port was Cape Town, our home. The route was not port intensive as it was up the West Coast of Africa and involved a lot of sea days.
