The cruise was delayed by two days, which spoilt the entire cruise.

The food was poor compared to previous cruises. The bar service was slow and the quality of the cocktails was inconsistent. The cabins were very comfortable and clean. The embarkation process was a circus. Having been told to get to the terminal early, we were then told to sit and wait. No refreshments were offered and the shore based personnel became fractious and rude. While the delay in the ...

We were expecting a relaxing leisurely cruise from CT to Durban. Due to wind the cruise was shortened by two days. In our experience not enough was done from the side of MSC to ensure the least discomfort for passengers. Firstly we were informed by SMS to be at the harbor at 8am and that embarkation would start promptly afterwards. Queuing for nearly five hours apparently due to the lengthy ...

We are pensioner couple on our FIRST cruise ever. We were so excited before trip but the reality soon set in when we were told the ship would be 2days late docking in CTown and hence cruise cut short by 2 days . Embarkation was very busy but ok and delayed due to passengers still getting off. Our cabins were very nice and clean . However we were ...

This was my 3rd cruise with MSC. The Ship is well Maintained. Very neat and clean and well looked after. The entertainment crew were friendly and good. The barmen in the Cigar Lounge were very friendly and helpful. The crew at the Spa were friendly and very good. I was lucky to meet the Manager and I could congrats him with his staff. The crew at the outside bar, reception and restaurants ...

This was our 3rd time with msc and have never been impressed with them, but chose this cruise for the itinerary It is a very nice ship but the organisation is abismal, lack of communication, public areas not very clean, toilets often dirty and no toilet paper.Poor choice of food, small portions and overall not very good. If you are using the public toilets make sure you there is toilet paper ...

We chose this cruise as we had done the trip up to Mozambique from Durban twice before, and felt like a change of departure city, ship and itinerary. We felt like the ship was overcrowded, way to few seating in the buffet area and pool decks. No system to keep order and no assistance with children or babies in the buffet area. Being pushed an bumped while trying to get a meal for my baby was ...

We love cruising and have done many cruises on various ships but this experience was the worst by far.We sailed up to Walvis on the 20th January. The embarkation procedure was a complete disaster- we had two small children with us and we stood in line for 4 and a half hours. We noticed many elderly people and even a lady in a wheelchair having to go through this horrendous experience. The ship was ...

This was my first cruise. It wasn’t well organised. On arrival nobody assisted us with anything. We were left to wonder the ship figuring things out for ourselves. Some things we only found out towards the end of the cruise. One of us fell ill on board, only to be informed they were sold out of meds. Sold out!? During the cruise dinner arrangements were really poor. Our designated table was ...
