Chosen cruise was a family cruise and loved it. Restaurants was well filled and had good service levels in the restaurants. Buffet was excellent although there needs to be some sort of system in place when collecting ones food at the restaurants. It can become chaos at times. The other one big thing was when boarding the experience was not nice as we did not know where to go stand when we arrived, ...

We where on the cruise that got stuck at sea ! Not their fault, but the lack of communication was. It was a guessing game, not cool. And then the repeat of the food got old very quickly. There is way to many people on the ship and as for the Q's they never stop literary from start to Finnish. The dining was average at best no variety, as for the wine most where not in available, ...

When Do We Get to the Next Port?

Third time on Oceania, first time on the R-Class Nautica. Had a great time on this 30-day cruise up the east coast of Africa and then Asia seeing some out of the way places but meeting some great people onboard. The biggest detractor on this cruise was time and how long it takes to get from point A to point B. Itinerary Planning - This is a shared responsibility between Oceania Corporate and ...

Summer and excellent weather. Departed from my home town. We did not disembarked in Walvisbay. Would have liked to do canoeing in Walvisbay but the ship arrived to late and the tour organizers could not wait for us. All in all it was a delightful cruise. Food was good. Shops is expensive. Negative: Embarkation took very long, long ques. would like to have that done more efficiently. ...

Entertainment was great

This was our first cruise and we really enjoyed it. The only problem that I encounter was on deck 7....I would suggest that all entries to the Casino to closed at all time. The Casino is a smoking area and is opposite the theatre. When gaining access to the theatre from Deck 7 children and non-smokers are expose to those smoke fumes from the Casino side. Other that, my first cruise was awesome and ...

The Bokradio cruise has been on everybody's lips for a few years now. I decided to give it a try. What an amazing experience. Thank you to everyone that made our cruise a huge success. The ship was cleaned to perfection and everything was easily accessible. The cabin was perfectly cleaned every time we walked out of it. When we came back in the evenings the next day's program was on our bed ...

The balcony cabin was well appointed and the view and experience amazing. Cabins were cleaned on a regular basis and service always came with a smile. Coffee and cool drinks served at breakfast spoiled the elegance of the trip. The pizzas could also be covered with more toppings. The dinners in the evening were enjoyable although certain dishes such as the calamari (fish platter) was a ...

Brilliant Bokboottrip

We selected this trip as it was arranged by Bokradio and this is where it was advertised regularly as well as we are listeners of this radio station every day. The number of Afrikaans singers whom committed to the trip also contributed to our decision to go on the trip. The arrangements were excellent and as myself is a double amputee we were accommodated through early on board as well as ...

My husband & I chose this trip so he could take some CE and do a safari!. We booked the pre-cruise safari at Lion Sands River Lodge. While Oceania did not really do a good job with communicating our hotel info or flight info to the bush, it all worked out & the Lodge was amazing! We had 4 game drives and 1 bush walk. Pre-Safari, we booked a night at the Residence Boutique Hotel. The Residence ...

Wonderful African Cruise!

We had a balcony suite, 6017, on the starboard side, which we enjoyed. Overall, it was an excellent cruise experience, with an enjoyable itinerary. There were some bumpy seas on the coast of South Africa on the Atlantic side, so anti-nausea seabands or medications are recommended (the ship was kind enough to have some available). We had a combination of ship shore excursions (selected as a ...
