We choose this particular itinerary and cruise to see the Fall colors of the St Lawrence River. We boarded the ship for a round trip adventure out of Kingston, Ontario and our cruise did not disappoint. The Cruise Director and staff went out of their way to insure the comfort and pleasure of the guests was first and foremost. We were well fed with fresh meals and ingredients three times daily and ...
Way over priced for quality of cruise experience. The main cruise director was at best annoying, at worst rude, impatient, unsympathetic. We were specifically told lunch would be offered to accommodate a late excursion only to find the DR closed. Fortunately, we were in port and could walk into a local restaurant that day. Daily excursions are listed as being included in the cruise fare but ...
I chose this cruise because of the size of the ship and the destinations. I have always wanted to see the Great Lakes, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Mackinaw Island. This cruise combined all three. We had stops in Muskegon/
Holland, and Mackinac Island in Minnesota. Then headed to Canada. Sault Ste Marie, Parry Sound and Midland in Ontario. Then headed back to the US. We went to Detroit ( ...
I enjoyed the Great Lakes for the weather, temperature and wonderful people in each port. Our Cruise Director Krista was so inspiring, she gave us a run down of what to expect on board and at the different port excursions of our voyage. All the events were well organized for the guest to enjoy entertainment in two lounges with Music and watercolor painting each day with new subject to learn about. ...
We have been enjoying getting to know areas our own usa and canada. Cruising the great lakes cruise offered so many bucket list experiences! We rode on the hornblower up to niagara falls! What an experience! Had dinner with an amish family in their home and cooked by grandma in cleveland. Rode in a 1914 model t ford at the henry ford museum in detroit. Explored parry sound. We visited mackinac ...
We chose this cruise because my husband and I wanted to see the Great Lakes of the United States and Canada, but to do it without the hassle of driving. Well, this trip did it all! Beautiful, spacious accommodations, elegant food, and a top notch staff who could not have made you feel more welcome. We loved it! The ports were very interesting, there was a happy hour every evening at 5pm and ...
I chose this cruise because of the size of the ship.. I really enjoy small ship cruising. We had less than 90 passengers. The crew was just spectacular andspectacular and made everyone of us feel that way that we were the most important person in the room. The itinerary was interesting... I have always wanted to see the Bay of Fundy. We even went to a lobster bake. Our nightly entertainment ...
Having never seen The Great Lakes, nor traveled a small ship, I thought this selection was ideal. I was RIGHT! The concierge service by the staff and crew, the delicious and lavish meals, the delightful entertainment, intriguing lectures, and the variety of options for excursions were all second to none.
Each port was welcoming in their own community way. My travel companion and I felt like ...
We have cruises with Pearl Seas multiple times and it never disappoints. The crew are delightful. The food is delicious. The itineraries are unique. And we love small ship cruising! We would recommend the Pearl Mist to anyone who loves to be spoiled and is looking for an alternative to big ships. We cruised Canada and New England, Panama Canal, and Cuba with them. The best part is returning to see ...
This cruise was included as part of a larger tour. The boat was small and cabins were miniscule, including two small beds with drawers underneath for storage (no closets) and a tiny bathroom which was a combined toilet and shower. The bathroom smelled like the worst port-a-potty, and we had to sleep with the cabin windows open just to avoid the smell. Staff was pleasant, entertainment was fun ...
