RIPPED OFF AND HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED, DO NOT CRUISE

Review for a World Cruise Cruise on Insignia

Do not i repeat, do not book an norwegian/oceana cruise. You have been warned we are on the around the world cruise currently. the cruise is 196 days from miami florida to new york. It is utterly a complete disappoint. If i was to write every disappointment, we have experienced up to now it would be 10 pages. We are going to try to condense it. First, they advertises the best cuisine at sea. That ...

Stay away from Oceania. Horrible customer service

Cruised on Oceania a few yeas ago and decided to book with them again. This was a mistake. We had a penthouse suite, it was okey. The mattress was well past its prime. It's a beautiful ship and the service was first rate. The line advertises the best cuisine at sea. I was not impressed. There are four speciality restaurants: the only one that was outstanding was the Italian restaurant. The ...

Deeply depressing experience.

Like on their ocean cruises they pipe nondescript classical muzak on the loudspeaker system incessantly, making for the ambiance of an elevator in a department store. You can escape to your cabin or to the scarce outdoors areas if they haven’t stoved the furniture - which they actually do all the time because the cushions aren’t waterproof. Not that it matters much because there is no shade to be ...

Cunard has no regard for customers

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Queen Mary 2 (QM2)

Our embarkation was a complete nightmare!!! The cruise was delayed 6 hrs, totally understandable given the circumstances. What wasn’t ok was the chaos that was referred to as embarkation. We stood on line for 3.5 hours. My husband’s back was so bad he didn’t recover the entire cruise. We tried to get him a wheelchair, totally impossible. There were so few available for many people. He took to ...

Horrible Cruise on Queen Mary 2

We thought it be nice to spend a week on QM2 and booked two Queen's Grill suites to travel with my family. However starting with a horrific boarding experience the cruise barley got any better for us. As other have posted, boarding the ship was total chaos. 4 hours of standing in line with no food or beverage is a horrible way to treat your guests. Zero priority given to Queens Grill guests ...

Celebrate 4th of July on a cruise - my first cruise with Cunard and my last. Embarkation was totally skewed. Ship arrived 6 hours late however there was no order to embarkation. No one had any idea what was happening and total disregard for communication to passengers. We waited over 6 hours to board all of which we were standing and not moving. Passengers were falling down and getting very ...

We took this cruise because of the ports and the unique itinerary, sailing from Miami to Montreal. We were excited because the excursions were included, so we didn’t have to arrange them ourselves. Before the ship left Miami, the Great Stirrup Cay port was cancelled, as well as Fernandina Beach, and Freeport, Bahamas and Jacksonville, FL were substituted. Freeport was a rundown port, and the ...

Traumatic, Dangerous and horrible experience with Seabourn

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Seabourn Quest

"Seabourn clearly do not prioritize guests' interests, needs, health or safety." "Rotten food, serious service issues, and a dangerous cruise overall" I would sail with just about any cruise line rather than Seabourn in the future. They claim to be "ultra-luxury" but proved to be our worst cruise experience ever! We are long-time experienced cruise guests having completed 30+ cruises over the ...

Oceania is the Worst cruise line ever!

Oceania worst cruise ever! Oceania should stop sending expensive brochures and spend the money on better quality food and staffing ! it was terribly under staffed! Not enough servers in dining areas or lounges. Food , including desserts, were awful! We never saw or heard from the Captain. He never addressed the passengers , through turbulent waters. Our ship was rocking and ...

Writing this now because I can not believe that SilverSea has been named best luxury cruise line. As far as we are concerned never again. To start with the positives- our butler and steward were both absolutely fantastic. So were the staff in the medical centre which I visited each day to have a dressing changed . However the praise stops there. Food, decor and entertainment all very ...
