Caribbean Princess seemed like a well-run and well-kept ship. Even with our itinerary change due to Hurricane Dorian, things went smoothly and efficiently. The lackluster food was my only real issue, but even then, there were plenty of decent options.

We chose this cruise because of the itinerary. All of the cities were places of interest to us and we had not visited them before. We took advantage of the pre cruise add on. Our hotel, Le Germaine, in Montreal had just re-opened after an update. The update is quite modern, think chairs hanging on chain from the ceiling. I read many reviews before this trip. There are couple things I didn't know until I got in the ship.
- the ship only provides hair shampoo & conditioner & body soap in the same bottle, and one bar soap. There is no hand lotion. Since we washed hands many times a day so really need to have hand lotion.

We have been to many of the stops on this cruise, but the price was right and we have wanted to see the fall colors. Plus it gave us a chance to see the Atlantic Provinces of PEI and Nova Scotia. The colors did not disappoint although we missed Bar Harbor and St. John due to a storm that blew in while we were in port in Boston.
