We especially love the Gem for the outstanding crew and staff, this is our second trip to Bermuda on the Gem. What a friendly group who gave outstanding service at all times. Our first time was before the pandemic.
We were in a Club Balcony and we very happy to see it had not been totally updated, the changes to this type of cabin on Pearl was terrible, (closet hard to open, doors ...
We book this cruise every year. 3rd time on Princess. For us, no fly. Pleasant week . Great ports. For once, the weather cooperated. In past years we missed a port or two due to weather.
Embarkation was a breeze. We finally found a convenient way to access the Brooklyn cruise pier by using the water taxi from pier 11 at Wall St. It drops off at Red Hook across from the ship. Just ...
I chose this cruise for the itinerary and dates of travel. Ports of call were all wonderful, we the exception of St John, NB. No excursion is required in any of the ports (except St John) if you’re willing to walk a bit, or navigate public transport. St John doesn’t have a much to offer after a quick wander and visit tot he old market. Might be worth an excursion to Hopewell Rocks…

We booked this cruise because we thought it would be a good way to see some East Coast cities and hopefully see some fall colors.
We both felt that the food was good and had no complaints. One specific issue we had with the buffet was getting a table to sit at. This seems to be a problem with most of the cruises that we have been on lately.
Embarkation was in Brooklyn. It was raining and ...
Overall we enjoyed our trip. The housekeeping staff were wonderful, as were the staff members in the Windjammer and Main Dining Room on Deck 4. I also thought that the shore excursions were well organized. And the tour guides were very knowledgeable.
However, we had a number of problems with the Guest Services staff. We needed to borrow a wheelchair and the member at the desk flat out refused, ...
I decided it was time to try another line after being disappointed on the last couple of cruises on NCL and RCCL. My DW had been on one Princess and other friends have been complimentary of the line in the past.
Overall I was very pleased with the cruise. Were there things that could be better- yes. There were more things that I liked than disliked and Princess will definitely be in the picture ...
We are a retired couple and this was our 7th cruise with NCL. Making this cruise our 21st. We had an inside cabin. We hadn’t cruised since 2014 on NCL.
We live in New York State so we thought it would be a great starting port. We flew into JFK the day of the cruise. Arrived with no issues at 7:00AM. We bought transfers because I thought it would be a safer way to the port. ...
Lately I have only been cruising on NCL because I normally travel alone and stay in the Haven. However this trip I went with a friend so I had a Club Balcony Stateroom.
The following is my review:
Stateroom: Absolutely terrible, the description said it sleeps 4, it barely fits one person in the room…..sleeps 3 is pushing it. The mattress was hard, the pillows left me with a stiff neck or a ...
The October 6, 2023, the New England cruise from Quebec City to Boston began on October 4 with the NCL BOGO air. The trip began at 6 am on United Air from Colorado Springs to Chicago. Late start with plane bathroom issues but arrived in time in Chicago for our connecting Air Canada flight. The Chicago flight loaded and had a delay of 20 minutes, then another 20, then everyone told to deplane, ...
Cabin, Concierge Class- the shower floor does slope properly and never fully drains- ship was refurbished 2019 - hard to believe this has not been corrected;
destinations great but too little time in St John NB and Halifax- remove a stop and more overnights needed or later a.m arrival and evening departures; tendering process in Rockland Maine inexcusable with only 3 tender boats operating - ...
