"The only way to get back to peak season was to book Antarctica Cruise only, but South Georgia was a priority for me, so I was stuck, and booked for the shoulder season departure (Scenic knew exactly what they were doing – many of the passengers on this sailing were rebookings and well, so Scenic got to charge more for shoulder season departure with captive customers).March 2017 – Booked Scenic Eclipse for Sailing Falklands, South Georgia, Antarctica sailing December 16, 2018...."Read More

1-10 of 26 Buenos Aires Scenic Ocean Scenic Eclipse Cruise Reviews
My recent voyage of discovery to Antarctica, South Georgia, and Falkland Islands on Eclipse 1 with my husband (John) is nothing but praise. We were welcomed on board by the Captain. Followed through into the lounge area where we met the Restaurant Manager who remembered us from a previous cruise. We were introduced to many crew. After a welcoming drink and made to feel special, it was time to ...
It has been a lifelong dream to visit Antartica. We studied many other cruise lines for this experience and decided on Scenic as for the money it was the best value overall. This was our first luxury cruise and we really enjoyed the all inclusive approach to cruising.
This ship is more of an expedition yacht and designed for a small group experience (200 or less). This made for a more relaxed ...
I went on this cruise a bit nervous and hesitant. It was my Husband's dream and I went along. I LOVED it! The ship is amazing, the crew is amazing, the food is amazing and the destinations and experiences are amazing!
The ship is beautiful aesthetically, it is also fast and smooth.
The crew from the Captain down is incredibly enthusiastic and friendly.
The Discovery team is a stroke of ...
After a lot of research Scenic Eclipse was our choice because of the luxury and amenities offered and included.
Cruise started off rough when we were not included in priority boarding, so we were not feeling so go about things to come, But once on board, things were looking up when we met our Butler Vladimir. He started out working to find out what we needed and our likes. Vladimir was ...
The only way to see Antarctica is by boat and we chose this cruise because it was all-inclusive. It was our first cruise and we didn't want the stress of tipping etc. There were other stresses such as booking restaurants at the beginning which could have caught out us rookies - but the person who did our check-in tipped me the wink. All the staff were amazing. And the Discovery Team was ...
Chosen because of previous positive experience with Scenic (Mekong).
Voyage selected as soon as the boat launched and programme announced but blighted by CV so although postponed a couple of years the trip reached and exceeded expectation.
The cruise itself was beyond reproach, superb organisation, elegant soothing decor, amazing lounge with a bar offering, it was claimed, 138 whiskies, all ...
Bucket list cruise. Positives: amazing cruise itinery; ship staff in general very attentive. Naturalists were top notch and gave interesting lectures. Open bridge was a nice addition. Did not go to evening shows so cannot comment. Negatives: lazy butler; nice cabin but not spectacular; weak/no Wi-Fi in cabin (went to Azure cafe to connect to the internet); no place to hang wet clothes; no ...
This was our third trip with Scenic but the first time on Scenic Eclipse. It was such a wonderful experience. We were in a spa suite on 8th floor. The room was so spacious and with a lovely, modern decor. All the staff on the boat were very polite and attended to every detail. Most impressive is their restaurants which have very high standard service and food and their menu are always different. ...
Great trip.
Captain and hotel manager fantastic.
Crew great - Damir, gregg, Christian, Deane stop out.
Enrichment lectures great - I lined the short and punchy nature.
Did well to find weather holes and calm slots.
Entertainment poor - especially the pianist.
Little atmosphere created in the lounge.
You are not able to book a future cruise discount if you don’t book a specific ...
Great itinerary to the South Atlantic and Antarctic. Looked forward to the great food, helicopter ride and submarine. The ship is in fact beautiful and very comfortable.
Unfortunately, I received an email as I was packing for the trip informing us that the sub was broken and not available. We were selected for a helicopter ride at the same time as our first kayak opportunity- we asking to move ...
