We boarded on March 1 for a B2B that would end in San Diego. Unfortunately due to the pandemic, the 2nd cruise was canceled and we were told we would be disembarking in Santiago, Chile. At that point, we were eager to get home so we really didn’t mind. However...that was not meant to be as Chile refused us docking and to make a long story short we had to sail to San Diego. 17 straight days at ...

We have been wanting to do a South America cruise for some time now and this holiday cruise was a perfect time for us. This was our 15th cruise with Celebrity. The cruise director, Alejandro from Argentina, was an absolute riot. We loved this guy. The entertainment was excellent too as was our dining room service with David from Kenya. His assistant Alvin was also outstanding. We loved the ...

Tried to put new adventure into the cruise life but the main reason was to sail Cspe Horn and see Ushuaua. And..... weather canceled so we went to some backwater ports of little interstate not history. Sad. Do not let yourselves get booked into cabin 1964. A loud, smelly place really unfit for habitation. Ship was nice for relaxing, cards, stage shows. Happy hours were really necessary ...

We chose this 30 day cruise to see South and Central America. We embarked in Buenos Aires, sailed around South America, up the west coast to Los Angeles. We visited 7 countries in all. Embarkation was delayed 5 hours so the cruise did not start out well. We then skipped our first port visit in Argentina due to high winds. The rest of the cruise happened as planned. The ship was nice and ...

We had a great time on this cruise. Ports and entertainment were excellent. Celebrity ran many extra activities and gifts for elite members and above. The food was quite good. We enjoyed the Ocean View for breakfast and lunch and Select dining for dining. Staff was very attentive to all of our needs. Entertainers wonderful and so was Mickey live! The added Tango show added to the entire feel of ...

We chose Celebrity because of long and frequent previous experience. To begin : embarkation in Barcelona was the worst we ever experienced. Despite our Elite statute we stood in line for 50 minutes. One man fainted in another line. Cabin with balcony very much alike to other cabins on ships of this class. Excellent steward (Francesco) . Very attentive and efficient. We have no ...

Cruise to Cape Horn meets most expectations

We made a late decision to take this cruise after finding it was available at very attractive rates, and booked an Aqua class cabin mid-ship. Aside from cost, we were intrigued by the itinerary -- Buenos Aires to Cape Horn and back, with a variety of ports in Argentina, Uruguay and Chile, plus a number of at-sea days for relaxation. We've cruised Celebrity several times before, and appreciate ...

Does Celebrity care?

Please do read this. Many people on this planet speak more than one language. Many speak or understand English. Not most of English speakers could save their lives if it depended on a language other than their own. Before going into detail as of the amenities and efficiency, I need to address the SAFETY ISSUE. The safety drill was solely conducted in English (more than 50% of the passangers ...

Let's talk about what's good about the ship - outstanding internet, no drop outs & fastest we've experienced at sea. The elevators, fast although there are only two banks. You wont wait long for one. Staff, the crew works extra hard to make you happy. Entertainment, decent overall with some shows outstanding. This is a big ship yet doesn't feel that way and all is pleasing to the eye. We were ...
