Excellent itinerary on the NCL Sun. Small ship for 14 days, but the itinerary is awesome. We did two days in Buenos Aires before the cruise (must do the hop on hop off bus) and then did two days in Santiago after the cruise. This is a long vacation but do worth it. Booked this cruise as a means to achieving a long held curiosity to see South America. By sailing this cruise from Buenos Aires to Santiago and following that up with the Santiago to Miami leg we were able to see a great deal if not the full monty.

Great ports, especially the Falkland Islands. Chose this ship because of the pricing and its itinerary(both what we all wanted.) Went to Buenos Aires for 4 days ahead and toured city on our own. Highly recommend doing that. Transfer to ship on Feb 2 was easy and well organized by Ship. Just need a private taxi organized by your hotel. No need for NCL to do that.
