I have been doing the Cruise yearly with the Finesse Ladies group and it's the highlight of my year! We book yearly before we get off for the following year and it's a habit that we will continue to do as long as possible!
My mom passed away on the 6th February this year and I enjoyed the quiet time on the deck to make peace with the big loss I encountered!
Me and my friends enjoyed all ...
our main reason for undertaking the cruise was to visit the Portuguese Island, unfortunately because of the weather we were not able to.
Embarkation/Disembarkation reasonably smooth
Ship - very good
Cabin - Reasonable, bit small , bedding not good
Dining - dinner service very good (table 625 -Mahendra and Vicky) variety/choice of foods not very good. Breakfast/Lunch not adequate ...
The boat is beautiful and the facilities good, but the catering was of the lowest standard I have even seen on any cruise. The buffet was a disaster. The cocktail were watered down and the service was poor in the deck bars. The Savannah Bar was the best bar on the boat and I enjoyed it.
The casino service was non existent. As a Silver Member I was extremely disappointed in the fruit basket ...
I have been on eight cruises and have cruised with Royal Caribbean, Norwegian, Carnival, Costa, and Viking River. All have been great. This MSC cruise, however, would turn anyone against cruising.
I chose this cruise because it began in Buenos Aires and featured two days in Rio de Janeiro, the two places I most wanted to see in South America. What MSC does not tell you is that this ship is ...
we are black/ diamond member's
with this there is supposed to be numerous privileges like free dining art a specialty restaurant for 2 PER membership card this was disputed by the management of the restaurant stating that it is only one per cabin eventually the concierge of diamond voyagers club got it through middle managements think heads that its per card, that was the first of many trips ...
It was our second time with MSC. The first one was with MSC Fantasy and was very good.
To start, embarkation lasted three hours, very stressful. We had to buy soap at the first port we arrived because the soap dispenser did not work. The menu at buffet and restaurants did not have many options, specially if you do not want to eat meat. They take a lot of time to refill food and coffee, when ...
We chose this cruise because of its 23 night itinerary of very varied destinations, covering South America through to Europe, we had previously cruised with MSC on the Opera, based in Cuba, which we really enjoyed.
Sadly this cruise turned our to be the worst possible nightmare! - We booked the Top Grade Aurea package as this includes "My Choice" dining, where you can dine anytime between 7.30 ...
This sailing was a repositioning from South America to the Mediterranean. Embarkation in BA was well organised taking only one and half hours from arrival at the cruise terminal to reach our cabin. One case was already there and the other arrived a couple of hours later. Neither was damaged.
Correct protocols were followed for the emergency drill and the exercise was more professional than ...
The reason for this cruise was because the first cruise we did on the MSC Sinfonia from Venice to Durban was excellent. We thought it will be similar on a longer cruise like the Poesia and booked it already on the Sinfonia. We have not visited the countries as per the proposed iternary, hence the reason to select this ship and route. We were very disappointed that the amount of English speaking ...
We chose this cruise having never been to South America before. The itinerary suited us i.e. Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil together also the dates.
This was our 7th cruise and first time with MSC. Despite reading some poor reviews because of the above we decided to book.
We flew via Heathrow to Buenos Aires on an 18 year old 777 with British Airways BRUTAL It took 2 hours to clear B.A. ...
