Durnstein. Delightful Village that was an alternative port of call. Spent a lovely afternoon and even attended a craft fair where my daughter got some hand dyed yarn! Also had a delicious pint and some wild mushroom soup!

Staff, food, accomodations, service-Awesome beyond words!!!!! The experience exceeded my expectations in every way! The staff couldn't do enough for you, always 2 steps ahead. Service with a smile on all employees on the ship. The food was not only a 5 star restaurant quality, but delivered in the most beautiful presentation. The room was beautiful and spacious, I never felt confined. My ...

We had never been on a river cruise before, and we had never been to Germany, Austria, or the Czech Republic. This cruise was the answer! All the Viking shore excursions were excellent, but the most important thing became the 6 friends we came to know on the cruise. They made every meal a delight and every tour so much more fun. Our greatest disappointment was that we only had one day in Vienna. ...

We wanted to try a river cruise through Central Europe , and Viking has a great reputation. Though the embarkation was not easy - we arrived in Budapest two days early on our own - we walked to the assigned dock not knowing our ship had been relocated for the World Cup FICA competition being held there starting that week. The ship is beautiful. It is comfortable, well appointed, easy to get ...

Word of mouth says Viking are by far the best. After one week covering 5 countries in seven days without unpacking and repacking I can highly recommend this cruise. Service exceptional and quality food, stateroom classy and kept exceptionally clean. Tours broad and varied and comprehensive. Management friendly and super organised. Sail was smooth and on time perfectly. Dining ...

I get a email once a week on cruises from Vacations To Go and found this cruise which included 2 cities on my bucket list Budapest and Prague. We did the pre in Budapest and the post in Prague. I can't say enough about the entire experience. The hotels the service was great, the Viking staff at each hotel very attentive to our every need or request. The Ingvi was fantastic. Clean, organized & well ...

We arrived in Budapest 2 days early. Fanni and Andrea were wonderful. Great concierge service. Gave us great ideas and directions. Agnes took us on the Taste of Budapest tour. She was a wonderful guide. Carmen in Melk was also a terrific guide, wonderful sense of humor. On our post extension tour to Salzburg and Munich, Fred was so knowledgeable and was an outstanding guide. It was also ...

We had heard that Viking was the best and they proved it. The itinerary had places that we had never been yet also allowed us to revisit some of our past favorites. The size of the ship allowed us to get to know many of our shipmates and gain lasting friendships. With less than 200 passengers rather than thousands, we also knew most of our crew and felt comfortable asking questions. The ...

First time with Viking and will not be the last, we are booked for the Holy Land in 2018! If that tells no one how we see Viking let me explain. The trip on the Ingvi was a great experience. The crew seamed to be able to read minds anticipating our request before the were asked. They were not overbearing but always available for any needed help with anything truly superior service. The ...

I was very interested in the European history and the areas that this cruise was covering. I do have one suggestion to add and that is not to have so much leisure time when visiting a site. For Czechi Kremlov, we had about 2 hours for lunch and leisure time. Whereas that could have been shortened by an hour to give us time to visit inside the castle. This tour was around the castles and ...

Excellent Cruise

Although not the cheapest. The attention to detail was first class. Every port an included excursion was arranged with local guide. Food on board was very good. Cabin small but adequate and comfortable. Evening entertainment was limited. Have already booked for a sea cruise with Viking. The staff were really friendly and soon got to know your preferences. Travelled from Budapest to ...
