My first river cruise! Was a wonderful experience. The boat was exceptionally clean and well maintained! The staff was amazing. So friendly and welcoming! The food was delicious and always prepared and presented beautifully! Full breakfast in dining room and small buffet upstairs Cheese board at both lunch and dinner and wine was flowing at both !The gym was very small and there wasn’t anything ...

Having cruised on the high seas 15 times, I finally convinced my sister to splurge on a Viking River Cruise. We selected a unique itinerary, Passage to Eastern Europe, figuring it highly unlikely that we visit many of these countries on our own. The itinerary did not disappoint. It was not a trip filled with breathtaking scenery (although there were beautiful stretches along the Danube, ...

Some friends asked if we would join them on this cruise and we had been wanting to try one. The cruise was a lot more relaxed than being on a large ship. It was nice being just steps away from the lounge and dining areas rather than traversing a lengthy ship. The service and staff was exceptional. The food was good, the free wine and beer with dinner was great, and the entertainment was ...

Our friends asked if we wanted to go with them on this particular river cruise and, as we had never tried a river cruise and wanted to, it afforded the perfect excuse to go. It was more relaxing than the large cruise ships, the food was very good, and the staff was superb. The only downfall on our cruise was missing a whole port due to river depth issues. Our friends missed a tour they were ...

Budapest to Bucharest was a great trip itinerary. Stay in Romania was especially good with extension up to Brasov. Distance into cities which we thought we would actually be docked inside was disappointing. Cruise Director programs were really good. Food was below cruise ship quality. Tours were good, but some of the tour guides were very poor. Home tour in Croatia was fantastic. Serbia and ...

We booked the 15 day Magnificent Europe itinerary from Budapest to Amsterdam and travelled the last week in October and the first week in November. Our pricing included flights from the UK, transfers, port charges, gratuities, all shore excursions and drinks with both lunch and dinner. We booked as a special offer 3 months before our travel date through APT, an Australian company, so the vast ...
