We chose this cruise because we had never taken a River cruise. We were happy because of the fewer cruisers and the fact that we didn’t constantly have a camera in our face or someone trying to sell us jewelry or art. The staff and cruise director were fantastic. The itinerary was one we wanted. The rooms were very comfortable. The staff was fantastic. The Excursions were informative and lead by learned guides. All of our time spent on board were the best times on any cruise we have taken due to the care given by the staff and crew.

This was our first River Cruise and the Viking Grand European Tour was wonderful. We scheduled for 2019 and were delayed 2 years. We were able to get the Explorer Suite which was wonderful.
