Working with Viking in planning our cruise was flawless as well as working with them on excursions, taxis and requests on board. My husband had never been to Paris and I had never been to Prague so Cities of Light was a great choice for us. We had taken a Danube trip on Viking with my parents for their 50th anniversary and were very impressed with the company, the ship, the tours and the food. This was our first river cruise, though we've been on a number of ocean cruises, including the Star Clipper and Aranui. Our cruise director was very good, the ship was very good, and our stateroom was very good, though the view of the river from the bed was 50% blocked by a wall (we opted for state room 312, the Royal Suite, and found this aspect of it very disappointing).

Overall, it was a relaxing cruise experience. Beautiful scenary and well organized.

March 31, 2019 on Viking Magni River Cruise Budapest to Passau. First suggestion, do your homework. We booked a French “Balcony” (sliding door) on 3rd Fl. Very small. Just enough room for a double bed. No chairs so reading or TV is lying on bed. Small bathroom. Very efficient but claustrophobic.
