There are so many great things to say about Amawaterways AmaPrima, but the most important is the hospitality and service quality of the staff. Every single interaction with them was a pleasure -- waiters, housekeepers, the madly French cruise manager, chefs, sailors met in the hallways or on deck, and the seriously Dutch captain.

First ever river cruise, so based on reviews we chose AMA. The ship was very nice and checkin was very easy. We were surprised at age of clientele quite geriatric, we are in mid 60's but quite active. Crew was good. Food on board average. Spent way too much time on buses. Extension not at all worth it. Hotels average. Food below average.
