I chose this cruise after sailing on P & O Iona. The ship was nice and the food was acceptable. Unfortunately I believed the standard of the food would the same in Brittania. How wrong I was! We enjoyed our cruise on Britannia. The dining room food was decent but a little repetitive. The buffet however was dreadful, the worst I've had on a cruise ship. Taking Mum to the Fjords was something she wanted so badly and for that reason the cruise was fantastic. If you have cruised on any other major cruise lines, then you will be disappointed with the P & O Britrania. The Horizon buffet (Main buffet on the ship) is appalling.
