I rated the cruise as Very Good, but it was between Average and Very Good. As with most cruises, there were good and bad experiences, and some that were OK, but could do with a re-think. We booked late in the year, and got an inside cabin at a very good price.

After living in Papua New Guinea in the 1970s, my husband and I decided do a cruise there to visit other areas we had not seen. This cruise left from Brisbane to Papua New Guinea and back to Brisbane.

My wife and I chose this cruise for a number of reasons, the itinerary which took us to some pretty remote and little known regions of the pacific,it’s an easy flight from Sydney to Brisbane also a number of sea days is always a bonus.

This was the 2nd time we enjoyed this cruise, last was 2015. Great opportunity to see different things ashore. Pity that it was a bit rough this time but no one can control the weather!
Have sailed on Sea Princess many times & wish they would upgrade the televisions to movies on demand. Also be fabulous if she had the 24 hour International Cafe.

Always wanted to visit Hawaii and Tahiti. The ship should be commended on their staff. They are the greatest asset.

We really enjoy Princess, in particular the level of service experienced onboard is 1st class.

We did a Auckland to Sydney cruise on the Maasdam just prior to Christmas last year.
Needed to go to sea again(yes I am getting hooked) and found a great deal for a Brisbane to Auckland via South Pacific so jumped at it.

We were supposed to cruise on the 24th February, but a cyclone off the Brisbane coast stopped that. We managed to get out of port on the 27th instead. Great communication from Princess but alas we missed the South Island of NZ as a result. But NZ put on its very best weather for us. It was like Queensland, beautiful one day, perfect the next.
