The Coral Princess was recommended to us by a Youtuber and they were shown to be so right. In brief I loved it.
The embarkation process from Brisbane was not as chaotic as I feared and we were on board in under 30 minutes. However I have to say that lots of people ignored their arrival notifications and they were the cause of any difficulty others may have faced.

Right from the start our cruise got off to a wonderful start: The new Brisbane Cruise Terminal works well as the whole process from arrival to being on board having a delicious lunch in the dining room only took 30 minutes. We loved this ship even though twenty years old because the venues such as the Explorers Lounge and Wheelhouse Bars are not found on the bigger new ships. We had not seen a similar venue to the Universal Lounge on other Princess ships. This is a great venue for production shows and big bands and as we love dancing, great for dancing the night away. We chose the trip for one reason - get back to cruising (Australia only reopened to cruise from Apr'22).
Although a 20-year-old ship, it was spotlessly clean, well maintained and functional. In fact we would rate this ship above Ruby Princess, the last ship we travelled prior to pandemic shutdown.

We chose this cruise on the Coral Princess as we've cruised on Princess ships previously, but not the Coral. Also, very convenient to depart and return to our hometown so there were no travel/flight expenses.
