We did a Auckland to Sydney cruise on the Maasdam just prior to Christmas last year.
Needed to go to sea again(yes I am getting hooked) and found a great deal for a Brisbane to Auckland via South Pacific so jumped at it.
Booked a outside cabin and a few days before we left we’re given a free upgrade to a balcony suite.woopee.

Can't fault the staff they were brilliant and dining waiters made our experience a very fun and memorable one which we looked forward to each evening. The Sun Princess still provides excellent dining, entertainment, activities, port & shore excursions and an overall service experience.

We chose this 10 day cruise to introduce cruising to four friends who have never done this before. We prefer Princess to other lines and so we flew from NZ to Brisbane to join the cruise.

It's hard not to compare to previous cruises on Celebrity Solstice but to sum up first Sun Princess is an older ship with older guests. Solstice excels on style and dining but that's not what matters , what does matter is "did we enjoy ourselves????..YES we did ! "
