First Time Cruiser

Age 30s

We chose this cruise as it was short and left from our home city. We had not been on a cruise before. After this cruise, I would not recommend that anyone affected at all by motion sickness book a cruise, even with the medications available for purchase in chemists. The activities available on a cruise, particularly outdoor activities for children, are significantly affected by the ...

Sea Princess New Zealand Cruise 4-18 Jan 2018 CABIN A620 Norovirus Sea Princess motto should be changed from "Come back new" to "Come back poor and barely alive". Having had twelve cruises with several cruise lines we are fairly aware of what to expect when cruising. We saw news headlines stating that the Sea Princess had had approximately 200 passengers ill with the norovirus but ...

This is not going to be a glowing review of what a nice cabin we had, what good food, etc. because it was a horrible two week holiday cruise on the Sick...Sea Princess. My review is about the deplorable conditions and lack of accountability on the Sea Princess that allows for the spreading of the norovirus. Our cruise ended today (January 4, 2018) as we arrived back in the port of Brisbane after ...

We wanted a 10 day cruise at this time of year but it turned out a nightmare. The start was reception they were so rude,I have never been treated so badly. 2 days into trip I took ill they put it down as the virus which I say was food polsening as I did not have flue symptoms, they then had the bill up to my cabin before I even got back there and wanted paid straight away $860 for which I told them ...

We chose it for a relaxing time for my wife between Hospital treatments, this did not happen owing to ongoing maintenance noise through out the cruise not allowing the wife to get any rest during the day and having to put up with the smell of paint and varnish to annoy her !! As for shore excursions it was an average of 2 hours wait to get off the ship with their " Elite passengers walking ...

I cannot fault the embarkation, it was quick and easy. Cannot fault the staff. Everyone was extremely pleasant. Cannot fault the cleanliness.....cabin and all amenities were spotless. We had a balcony cabin, it was a tad small, but for 2 nights not a problem. The bed was brilliant, the best I have slept on during a cruise. However, from the moment we boarded, there was a lack of everything, ...

Firstly, let me say that my husband and I have had 9 cruises with different cruise lines. They include P&O, Royal Caribbean Radiance of the seas and Princess Lines. Firstly our friends and us were to have dinner together every night in the dining room. But unfortunately the cruise ship had given my husband and I a 6pm sitting, our friends 8pm sitting. I personally asked the Matre'd if he could ...

Sea Princess is incapable of providing adequately for any special diet except for simple gluten free or vegetarian. They have no menu for Gluten, Lactose or any other frequently occurring allergy. This caused multiple reactions because of inadequate information. Also many became ill with a flu like virus. NO EXTRA CLEANING was done of rails or buttons around the ship. One waiter coughed into his ...

We as a family have just completed a cruise of the South Pacific on the Sea Princess. Embarkation was a nightmare with two very young children. It did say in the fine print that children under 2 would have priority boarding, but when we requested this, were denied. The beds in the cabin were so old and uncomfortable that after the third day we had back problems. The food was very disappointing, ...
