Carnival Spirit is old and has not updated for over 8 years. Even when updated lots of original items remain; bathrooms and carpets are outdated. Food gets worse each year, especially for someone who prepares meals each day with fresh food. Long lines everywhere. Transportation from airport to ship is horrific! Not worth paying for this service, figure on waiting hours at the airport ...

This was my 3rd cruise with carnival, it was a matter of timing, budget and location. The staff was great especially erin. the only complaint for staff would be one cook at blue iguana...more to come on that. highlights would simply be alaska itself. this was my first ever visit there.....awe inspiring. especially the glacier tour at tracy fjord. and the fact that the area had rain for weeks ...

July Seattle to Alaska Cruise, purchase through Costco. This proved not to be a good experience for me or my teenage daughters. The food was fine, and was the main "activity" on this boat. There are two water slides, which the girls tried day one before leaving Seattle. They had to butt scoot. They don't really slide. Then otherwise too cold to use. I have been on many cruises leaving from Australia, America, Spain. This cruise we got on in Brisbane to Singapore we had the best time ,it just felt really comfortable and relaxing , It had great cabana beds around the adult pool at the back of ship it was amazing lying on the cabana and watching that great ocean.
