We sailed from Brisbane to Alaska on the Quantum of the Seas. The staff as always were efficient, hard working and kind. The food, however was disappointing and certainly inferior to pre covid days. Carnival Spirit is old and has not updated for over 8 years. Even when updated lots of original items remain; bathrooms and carpets are outdated. Food gets worse each year, especially for someone who prepares meals each day with fresh food. Long lines everywhere. Transportation from airport to ship is horrific! I like to cruise and when I do I prefer it to be to new locations and on different ships. The Luminosa has made me question this approach given I definitely didn't get the ship I expected.
