This is an honest review, I went on this cruise for my 18th birthday and it was nothing but heartbreaking and devastating. I could not even stay in the ship I ended up catching a flight home from cairns on the 4th day in because of how disgusting this cruise is. They did not inform their paying customers that disliking was going to occur on the boat throughout our experience, all pools were closed ...

We really just did this cruise to help us get to Diamond Plus, but would rather be cruising then sitting at home. Ship hull looks bad, starting to look rusty and dirty, but inside ship is still good. The entertainment was good especially the Freddie Mercury show, excellent. Seen most of the other shows before, but for first timers they are good. Noted no guest speaker this cruise, last ...

Review for a South Pacific Cruise on Carnival Luminosa

Luminosa is a mid-sized ship by today's standards; we found it generally clean and well-maintained. There was a small amount of vibration in places but very little engine or exhaust noise as found on other ships we have been on. It seems like a quiet, solid ship although we had very calm sailing and couldn't assess her stability. We found the air conditioning a bit cold for comfort in some ...

I recently went on a P and O cruise and I must say, it was a complete disappointment. From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of terrible. Firstly, the customer service was abysmal. The staff seemed completely disinterested in helping guests and were often rude and dismissive. It felt like they were doing us a favor by being there, rather than providing the service we paid for. ...

Good value should not compromise service

The cruise was a good value for monry. Positives: easy embarkation and disembarkation, well oganised tender to the shore, night shows were just OK. Disapointments: adult pool at the back was dirty, you could see residual oil on the handels of the entry steps, water very salty, I took shower as soon as I left the pool, never went back again. Buffet on level 9, one side of buffet was getting colsed ...

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED

Review for a Australia & New Zealand Cruise on Carnival Luminosa

I would personally not recommend Carnival to any of my family or friends. Entering a holiday spending over $2000 on accomodation and food to be underwhelming let down has left a distasteful stench in my mouth. The buffet is revolting so I attempted to eat at the restaurant hoping for better quality. To which I was again let down with a microwaved sirloin steak. Upon departing Airlie beach, guests ...

Make sure NEVER to book this cruise ship or you'll have the worst time ever!!! Save yourself from spending money and get nothing in return. I booked this cruise to celebrate my birthday with my 2 boys 12 and 14 years old. I made sure to book a spa room and a balcony room so bear in mind i spent more than the average to ensure comfort. To start with, the only pool they could use was small and ...

A nice pleasant cruise without bad weather or problems. Been on ship about 4 times so knew what to expect with regards food and entertainment. Last time on was back in February 23, still has that strange show Starwater going, it's slow to start but does finish well, also Sequence and Lace main show still running, it's a great show, also Sonic Odessey show still running, it's good ...
