The WORST cruise I have ever been on.

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Brilliance of the Seas

This is our forth transatlantic so we know what to expect. From day one there have been uncalled for and primarily unapologetic things that have gone wrong. It was a back to back and on the second leg they kept us in the theater 3 hours because they couldn’t find the new sea pass cards. Management was very unaccomidating in the dining room. They were short staffed and would not combine a table of ...

SO SO DISAPPOINTED - Brilliance of the Seas - low-cost rip-off cruise.

If you want to pay a lot for a low-cost rip-off cruise in a dated ship and very few activities - this is the ship for you. Six 1 liter bottles of water for 39 USD?? come on. We were on a family vacation (4 families with young kids) and booked a cruise via an agent (who was supposed to help find the right ship) on a home for the elderly cruise with cheap food, very little activities and dated ...

We chose Royal Caribbean for the destinations and the wonderful crew onboard. We have sailed RCC many times, and for the money they offer the best value and Crown & Anchor Club benefits. The crew is always very good, and helpful, and on this cruise we would like to recognize our Concierge, Amit; the concierge club bartender, Juliana; our dining room server, Dharia; and the fourth floor ...

OUTRAGEOUS TAXES IMPOSED

I have never been so angry and frustrated in a cruise like this last time. They charged us up to 21% of taxes plus service charges in all our purchases and beverage packages, photo and spa services arguing that our ITINERARY never touched international waters, so we were only cruising in the European Union, so that was the reason they charged us this outrageous taxes. For example. I bought a ...

Traveling with our adult children and two older teenage grandchildren, my husband and I chose this cruise because of the classic itinerary for the grandchildren's first visit to Europe. Whereas, our vacation together was wonderful, sadly, the ship experience was not. The main dining room displayed spotted, cloudy glassware. Too often, silverware was dirty. Soups were served lukewarm whether ...

My wife and I decided yo take this cruise to be able to see the places your ship would be docking in. The service on board was excellent. The staff, especially the waiters and room attendants were very friendly and helpful. There were enough activities on board and on shore to keep us entertained and occupied throughout the trip. Excellent live music to listen to and to dance to. As a senior ...

We arrived in Bacelone 2 days before saling, and it was great. We had a great time in Barcelone. The ship was great and the cabine also. We had dinner every night on the fift floor (sorry I can't remember the name) the staff in this dinning room was wonderful. We did not entertain or do any of the activities. the service was very good but the staff on the 11 floor, were not smiling at all, this ...

This cruise was like butlins on water the standard was so low. Service and food in the dining room Cold food most nights. Had to wait ages most nights for it. When it did come it was bland. Choice was not varied at all. Found it overall stressful eating in the min dining room. The Windjammer was no better whatever time you ate there you could not find a table and if you did it was not cleaned ...

First let me make one assumption about this company. From my experience I must assume that there is a terrible disconnect between Royal Caribbean the company and Royal Caribbean the Ship, Crew and Staff. Therefore I will say up front that I trust and respect the Ships Crew and Staff immensely. I cannot say the same about the Company folks.PLEASE READ THE LAST FEW PARAGRAPHS, even if you skim ...

My husband and I recently completed a cruise aboard the Brillance of the Seas. We departed Barcelona 12/29/2010. I was assigned cabin 7170. I paid for a balcony cabin and when I received my cabin assignment I looked on the website and the placement of the cabin looked fine. There was no mention of an obstruction. My travel agent verified he saw nothing wrong with the cabin. ...
