Good cruise but a few kinks to work out - RCCL you can do better

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Brilliance of the Seas

We are loyal to RCCL. We are beyond Diamond Plus and we like the deck plans on the Freedom and Voyager Class ships. Had on a gown and matching stiletto heels for formal nite and we had photos taken at three stations. Out of 15 pictures not a single one was a full length photo. Just waist up. These are STUPID photographers if they can't get formal photos from head to toe. What was the point ...

Christmas in the Caribbean

We chose this cruise to celebrate my father's birthday and mine. I was surprised by how many other people on the cruise shared a Christmas Eve birthday with my dad. It made it even more fun. I have no idea if anyone else has a Christmas birthday because there was no Happy Birthday singing in the MDR on Christmas Day. I don't know if it was because they were instructed not to, or because they ...

We choose this cruise to get together with friends from other states and to get out in the sunshine. We purposely chose a shorter, less expensive cruise. There were 12 of us all together; 4 of the couples flew from Ohio, one already in Florida, and we drove from SC. Embarkation was the easiest we have had in 17 cruises. The Port of Tampa is easy to drive to, easy to park, easy to board. We were ...

My birthday cruise

Our nephew & his wife joined us on this cruise to celebrate my birthday. Embarkation and disembarkation in Tampa was a breeze, quick on and off the ship with hardly any waiting. Our junior suite was large & clean with plenty of storage. The Brilliance O.T.S. is in good condition, well laid out, and the ride was mostly very smooth, even with the occasional rough seas of winter. We mostly dined ...

We chose this cruise because it fit the school vacation schedule in NY State. My wife and I are approaching 60 and our son is 25. We liked the ship size and layout. We had a Jr Suite which was plenty of space for the 3 of us. The walk-in closet was larger than we expected. The tub drain had an issue that was addressed promptly by the maintainance folks by removing the drain plug. It ...

Brilliance of the Seas is an older ship and could use a refresh but overall the ship is very comfortable and the staff was warm and friendly. I would like to see the Park Café open for lunch to give an additional option when not at sea with the dining room open. The food in the Windjammer was sometimes not as hot as I would have liked but there was always plenty of options. The ...

We choose this cruise because it was kids sail free and it left out of Tampa. The port of Tampa was awesome. We got there on the tail end of things and there were no lines to wait through and that helped big time since this was out first time back cruising in 5 years since the birth of our first daughter and this was our 2 girls first time cruising. The staff onboard were so nice and friendly. My ...

Overall it was a really fun cruise. Staff was good. Our room was very clean and the attendant was great. Anything we needed it was there before we returned to the room. Food and drinks were ok. Main dining room was average but we had requested a private toable and were placed with 6 others. Luckily they were all very nice. The kids really enjoyed the buffet. They are there for lunch and breakfast ...

My friends and I work together and planned this trip for months. Had went on a cruise earlier in the year on another cruise line. This cruise was awesome and the other could not even come close to it. The dining staff in the windjammer were just awesome. Surprised us with cheesecake because we were disappointed it was not on the dessert bar. Went on this cruise with my very best friends and a ...

We chose this cruise ship again because we had said her in 2014 and LOVED IT!!! The ship was still just as beautiful and well kept as we remembered. We had a balcony cabin on deck seven which was beautiful and spotless, our cabin attendant was awesome and very attentive as we've always experienced with Royal Caribbean. The main dining room is beautiful and the wait staff as wonderful. The food ...
