This cruise was the second on the new American Eagle and it was wonderful. The ship is modern decor and has a lot of space in the lounge and dining areas. The dining area is set up with many tables having window views and also noise reduction. Lounge areas are well placed on the ship and the outdoor grill is a new feature. The trip was excellent and we were able to spend time at ...

We discovered American Cruise Lines in 2014 with a trip on the Columbia and Snake Rivers. We have just completed our 15th cruise on a brand new ship, the Eagle, and have never been disappointed. This cruise, the Cape Codder, was fromBoston to Boston with stops Through out New England (Gloucester , Mass Maritime Academy, New Bedford, Martha’s Vineyard , Provincetown and Plymouth). It was the ...

Cape Codder Adventure

I chose this cruise because it covered a part of the United States I had never seen and it was going to stop in Plymouth, MA. As a descendant of a young man, Edward Doty, who came to America on the Mayflower I wanted to see and visit Mayflower II and Plymouth rock. Added to this we were to sail on the maiden voyage of the American Eagle. Very exciting. The ship itself was spotless, the help ...

We were on the Inaugural cruise of American Cruise Line’s brand new Catamaran, The Eagle, capacity around 100 passengers. We’ve been on 8 cruises with American so far and looking forward to our 9th in October, 2024. This one was a round trip from Boston to Cape Cod - the cruise was called the Cape Codder with stops in Plymouth, New Bedford, Newport, Martha’s Vineyatd, Hyannis and Provincetown. ...

A Great cruise for the New England area. This is the first time we have been on American Cruise Lines and was not disappointed at all. There were 3 of us in a veranda suite and there was plenty of room for 3 singles. All crew members were very accommodating. We had a great hotel General Manager, Cory! Cruise Director, Marla and the best of the best excursion director Daniel Patrick F.! My ...

I made a couple of posts on the American Cruise Lines Group before our 8/23 Grand New England Cruise expressing concern over whether it could live up to the fabulous experience we had with Viking on our first cruise two years ago after reading so many brutal reviews on Yelp and Cruise Critic. Well, about everything went wrong on this cruise that could go wrong and we had an absolutely fabulous ...

We went on the Grand New England Cruise offered by American Cruise Lines and enjoyed it very much. The Lobster Bake in Rockland, ME was wonderful...from music to our lobster. In fact, we found every port interesting especially visiting the Portland, ME Lighthouse, and the excursions we signed up for (Lobster and Lighthouse in Camden, ME and Schooner Sail in Gloucester, MA). We found the ship ...

First, being a Boston resident, I am thrilled to board the Serenade close to home. I have done this sailing three times and have loved each one. The staff on the Serenade is wonderful. They will go the extra mile to get things done. The entertainment on the ship is diverse and upbeat. The ship was clean and shiny. The cruise director is full of energy and fun. Everyone has their own preferences ...

My husband and I have traveled on Carnival since 1983 our first of 12 cruise on Carnival. When we saw that Serenade of the Seas went out of Boston ( we live about 20 Minutes from the Dock) we thought we would give it a try. I was excited to see a different cruise line and also a little scared that I wouldn't like it. While there were many differences between Royal Caribbean and Carnival they ...

Grand New England Coastal Cruise 2018 July 21 – August 2 ~~~My Trip to Boston, July 21st~~~ Since my nonstop American Airlines flight to Boston was not until 1:50 pm, SuperShuttle picked me up around 11 am, a few minutes early. Being a Saturday morning I expected the traffic to LAX would be light. So much for expectations, the traffic was unusually heavy with periods of ...
