We arrived in Boston on Friday (Oct. 26) for our 14 day repositioning cruise on Sunday (Oct. 28) and stayed at the Embassy Suites Boston Logan hotel. Very clean hotel with a wonderful breakfast and evening snacks! (Highly recommend!) Spent Sat. touring Boston in the beautiful Sun. Sun. morning we headed to the pier by taxi with the beginning of a very blustery day. We are Diamond members and ...

Pros: 24 hours pool and hot tub (Pools/Hot Tubs on Carnival and Norwegian close early - around 6-8pm). Indoor pool, hot tub and atrium. A very nice and relaxing setting. Fantastic gym with superior trainers. Great nightclub w/ GREAT staff. Thiago is the best! Really comfortable seating outside the buffet. Casino has very low limit tables ($3 minimum on Caribbean Stud ...

Background: This repositioning cruise from Boston to Miami with stops in the Caribbean was our second Royal Caribbean cruise. Recently, we have also sailed with Holland America, Celebrity, Regent and Silversea. Embarkation: Boarding the ship was easy and quick. The shore crew at the Black Falcon Cruise Pier in Boston was efficient and friendly. It took all of about 20 minutes to check ...

Jewel of the Seas 10/31/06 Repositioning Cruise Review I will preface this by saying that this is our fourth Royal Caribbean cruise and we were on this same repositioning cruise on the Jewel in 05, so I have some basis for comparison. I'm an RN and my husband is an engineer and we began cruising two years ago for our 25th anniversary. Now, of course, we're hooked and here I am, spending my time ...

Jewel Repositioning Review 11/1-11/13   RCI's newest ship sailed out of Boston, sea day, Bermuda over two days and one nite (at King's Wharf, known locally as "The Dockyard"), sea day, San Juan, St. Thomas, sea day, Aruba, Curacao, two sea days, Ft. Lauderdale. One of the many reasons this repo cruise is becoming so popular is the perfectly balanced amount of sea and port days. A good number of ...

Everything about this cruise was exceptional starting with boarding. We drove from Maine to Boston and arrived at Black Flacon about 10:00 a.m. -- we were onboard the Jewel BEFORE 11:00 a.m. - absolutely unheard of. We had as balcony cabin - location perfect - cabin a little smaller than we are used to but more than adequate for our needs. We left Boston and sailed into very unstable water for ...

I will start by saying we booked thru RCI and the whole process was great easy to do by phone and on-line.....all whom I spoke with first rate in customer service and personality and RCI is to be commended on that...We also are dummy vacationers by that I mean we do not want to think once the vacation begins so we do all thru the cruise line and it is worry free, by that I mean we book hotel and ...
