12 Day Mediterranean Cruise Venice to Barcelona

Review for a Europe - All Cruise on Norwegian Spirit

My husband and Itook this trip as cruise of a lifetime. Although this Ship is the oldest in the NCL fleet, we were attracted by the itinerary. We were not disappointed. After being on previous cruises on much newer and larger ships, we enjoyed the quaintness of the Spirit. It was a change from having to deal with much larger crowds. Although the room decor was a little dated, all in all the cabin ...

We picked this cruise because we liked the ports and the "one-way" nature of the cruise. My wife had always wanted to see the colors of New England. The cruise left from Boston and ended in Quebec City. My wife and I had never visited Boston so we spent an entire day there before departure. We walked the Freedom Trail and enjoyed the city. The morning before the cruise we walked the walkways along ...

If I had to limit my description of our recently completed two week Canada/New England cruise on the NCL Spirit it would have to be "hospitality." We experienced hospitality at nearly every step of the way - from our arrival at a crowded Black Falcon Pier to embark for our cruise to our leaving for home at the same pier. This word certainly extends to all of the crew we could possibly interact ...

Embarkation: Boston's new terminal is nice—the problems are before you get into the terminal—traffic flow was very bad with three cruise ships docked—there are no signs to show you where to drop luggage and find a porter---a real issue that needs to be addressed. Once inside everything went well and we were having lunch in Cagney's by noon. We arrived in Boston two days before ...

My husand and I have cruised with other lines in the past out of different ports. It was my daughter and mother in laws first ever cruise! The port of Boston was very convenient for us, it took us 15 min's to get in, checked in with ease and we were on board by noonish. The porters were very efficient and hats off to the Boston Police Department for keeping the traffic flowing. We were in our ...

Chose NCL for it's itinerary and casual atmosphere. Checkin okay, although Latitudes priority line just as long as regular one. Despite being told cabin wouldn't be ready until 2 p.m., went there first to drop of carry-on bags. One piece of luggage not delivered until 6:30 p.m.; inconvenient but before NCL's 8 p.m. deadline. Balcony Cabin 11590 nice size for 2 people, with small safe but no ...

We are empty nesters in our late 50's - early 60's. We cruise for the convenience of being able to unpack only once - and the itineraries. We are foodies, but certainly do not expect gourmet dining for every meal. We expect our room and the ship to be clean and comfortable, but do not go looking for the little things that might be wrong. We have cruised on Holland and Celebrity in the past, as ...

My husband and I set sail out of Boston on the Norwegian Spirit. This was our first Norwegian. We have cruised Royal Caribbean three times. We had hurricane Earl and Fiona to contend with. We boarded Friday but had to stayed tied up in port until Saturday morning and the storms passed by. That was fine - better safe than sorry... or safe than sick! First of all - we want this review to be fair. ...

NCL just didn't "wow" us. Every thing was good, but nothing was spectacular! Saw more of our captain on this ship then any other cruise. Cruise director, Kyle, was good. Saw him every where and couldn't help wonder if the man ever sleeps. Kyle took part in many activities and did a good job of entertaining us. We loved the 2nd City Comedy team, saw them 5 times over our 14 ...

9/17-9/24/10 Bermuda -vs- Igor and Igor won

Review for a Bermuda Cruise on Norwegian Spirit

Cabin with balcony, 10th deck: Having been born in Bermuda, wanted to return with my Brother to visit, together. Planned excitedly, all details of finding our family home, walking the same steps as our parents did, decades ago. Igor came along, week of 9/17-9/24 and they diverted our sailing down to Port Canaveral, FL for less than a day and then on to Nassau, Bahamas for, again, less than a day. ...
