i have nothing but negative words to say about the norwegian cruise line. we had problems since walking on the ship. we came with 7 people sharing three rooms. getting on we were each given key cards to get into our rooms. which one after another didn’t work. we had to contact guest services several times to have them fixed yet they could not figure it out for us. one of the members we came with ...

Cruise April 8 - 15 2022 Norwegian Pearl EMBARKMENT-- 4 hours in line. Ship was 3 hours late because of storm. They knew about storm night before but didn't call or email us. Elderly people crying in line as their legs were giving out and were not even offered a chair. ORIGINAL PAPERWORK -- We were supposed to have 3 days in Bermuda. They changed it twice without letting us know. Made ...

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Norwegian Gem

I chose this cruise because it departed close to home and is an easy drive to the port . Once at the port and rounded like cattle and every one boarded . As the day went on I figure i would take a shower . The drain in my mini suit backed up and flooded my bathroom with all kinds of waste coming up from the floor drain . it took almost four hours for the plumber to even get there to look at it. ...

Cabins not updated and small....guest services would not deal with a drunk neighbor we had next to us that screamed at nite....I was forced to buy alcohol package even though I can’t drink due to heart medicine.....Royal Caribbean always accepted a dr’s note....and did not force purchase of alcohol package...Very difficult to find a seat at breakfast...Staff was not helpful with seating ...

Horrible Experience

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Norwegian Gem

The ship was very compartmentalized. No large open area atrium to enjoy. The food was absolutely horrible. We have traveled NCL and other cruise lines in the past and have never experienced such a bad experience related to the food. Buffet was the same things every day with little variety. The main complimentary dining rooms were bland and like warm. By the time we realized the food issue, the ...

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Serenade of the Seas

Most of the food was not fit for wild animals. The eggs Benedict was a hard boiled egg on an english muffin that I couldnt cut with a knife. The hollandaise sauce was a cold goo. The buffet was disgusting and always a line. Never any clean tables to eat at, we had to clean our own or sit outside in 45 degree weather. All of the tables and bar surfaces were dirty with rings from glass and plate ...

First and last cruise

Review for a Bermuda Cruise on Serenade of the Seas

The first issue was the fact that we got rerouted to Portland Maine for a day (which I could drive to from NH any day for an hour and a half). So we really only had two days in Bermuda. The first day we had a good time at horse show bay. The second day we went to a beach closer to the cruise ship since we had to revised by 4:30 to make it back before leaving. The beach was suppose to open at 9 and ...

We sailed on the Jewel to Alaska in July and were disappointed in the ship and food, but gave NCL one more try. We were so excited about the ports for the Northeast Canada sailing, but we missed two ports - and didn't have to miss them! The food was below average, the service was below average and there was nothing to do on the ship. We've taken 25 cruises and this was our 7th with NCL. The ...

STAY AWAY FROM NORWEGIAN CRUISELINE

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Norwegian Gem

I have been on 5 cruises previously with 4 different cruiselines (including Disney, Princess, and Royal Carribean). My experience on Norwegian Gem was by far the worst. 1. The stateroom is poorly designed, with no outlets near the head of the bed. Family members with CPAP machines had to run extension cords across the entire room to be able to use their medical device. 2. Stateroom did not ...

My wife and I chose this last minute cruise since she had never seen Canada. We are frequent cruisers of the Caribbean and thought this might be a nice change. The ship is fairly small and the clientele for this cruise is definitely older. The food was good on the cruise. The best part for us was all the food is actually served even on the buffet. Was nice to not have other guests ...
