1. Before we booked the cruise I specifically asked the NCL sales person what would happen if the price decreased after we booked. I was advised we would be offered a portion of the difference as onboard credit. Believe in second chances so we thought, why not . We are so wrong. Right from the start, we ran into issues with the hotel in Boston. Shutter bus took an hour to pick us up at the airport. We chose this cruise because it was a nice 9 day cruise out of Boston ending in San Juan with terrific ports of call. Of course the hurricane changed our itinerary drastically. We ended up with an OK list of islands. We are able to get non stop flights from Chicago at $56 one way to Logan, so it is a nice change to sail from the east coast.

I was a big time lover of NCL before this cruise. The crew for the most part didn't seem happy to be there. Majority of the crew would walk by without smiling or saying hello. When we were on the Star everyone was happy and everyone said hello, what a difference.

This was a repositioning cruise ending in New Orleans. Perhaps this may explain the apparent lack of knowledge by the personnal staffing the main desk regarding general information about the next(s) port.

The crew were very good, cabin OK and the food satisfactory. The entertainment and shows excellent. The ship usage of space and some NCL policies created problems.
