We heard that Viking was great for river cruises and had never been on one before. The first evening we didn't get served our supper until 9:45 PM. This was a bored cruise. 7 days cruise and we was 4 days in Bordeaux. This was just hotel near to Passenger terminal. I will not suggest nobody to to book this cruise or to use Viking River Cruises as company as well . The value of money is just almost zero. The hotel crew was ok. This is not really a cruise. The boat doesn't leave Bordeaux until Monday lunchtime and you are back by Thursday. Tours involve lengthy bus journeys. The staff aboard the Forseti are brilliant and very helpful. Unfortunately when we moored at Liborne there was another boat moored between us and the shore.
