...we enjoyed a seven day cruise in May 2013 of the Society Islands...all of a sudden it was over...seven days of the experience on the m/s Paul Gauguin was too short...you just cannot imagine how nice it is...so...we returned in November 2013 for a fourteen day voyage to the Marquesas Islands and the Society Islands...incredible...the Marquesas Islands are remote and more of what you might dream of...everything on the ship is superb...crew, dinning, staterooms, environment, entertainment and sparklingly maintained ship...you just don't have to do a thing and it is perfect...keep in mind...this ship is the only luxury ship that voyages in these waters on a regular basis...it is simply spectacular...having been on Seabourn a few times the comparison is comparable...except...you are voyaging in the South Pacific...and it is more casual...try to book a starboard stateroom...in the middle section...avoid the stern cabins...they may have more room, bigger bed, larger lanai and whatnot...however, they go up and down, the view is where you were and mostly, they stink...go...you will not want to depart the ship...we are booking a trip to the Cook Islands, Tonga and Fiji as soon as they depart next...
