We chose this cruise for the itinerary. It had ports we wanted to see and only had one sea day. All the excursions were excellent and all the guides were very knowledgeable and spoke with perfect English. We liked the Tuscan Steakhouse the best. We have been on several cruises. The trip on the Viking Star was excellent except for a few problems which seem due to the newness of the ship. Transportation to the ship was efficient, and debarkation was handled well, but the trip to the Iceland extension was chaotic with the bus driver taking us to the wrong area of the terminal.
