Almost Carnival

Review for a Bermuda Cruise on Liberty of the Seas

Bermuda is a great place to visit, pick the longer cruise if you have never been there. The parking at Cape Liberty terminal is a mess. After initially boarding the Liberty of the Seas, I thought I was on a Carnival cruise having a tatoo cconvention. The ship needs a refresh. Cabins are worn out. The rugs separating at seams. The sliding door handle was falling apart and made it difficult to ...

Cruise from Boston MA to Burmuda then Bar Harbor, Maine. Departing on 5/31/2024. Overall, if there was an option to rate this Cruise ship and it's staff as a Zero, I would. The service on this particular ship was the absolute worst that I have every experienced. I have cruised on all of the major cruise lines multiple times and have never experienced cruise staff that went out of their way to ...

This was a wonderful cruise to Bermuda. We felt the MDR food was much better than last time (though was good then too). The windjammer was good but again the variety of food could be better. We had 2 big parties while on board, The 50 and 60's and the Disco inferno. The Disco Inferno really packs them in and is a wonderful tribute to the disco era of the 70's. Cruise Director Bal was very easily ...

One of the best vacations experienced

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Liberty of the Seas

The ship is beautifully designed and decorated, and well maintained. Looking forward to sail more on voyager and freedom class ships from New York area. We do not like mega ships like Oasis, where you have to book nearly every show 2-3 months in advance. We didn't find the cruise director Mey funny. She was just okay. Her helpers who hosted some of late night games were all excellent. The ...

No such thing as a bad cruise

Liberty shows its age here and there. Carpets, elevators, some furniture and in older in room technologies. None of this will take away from your experience. Current cruise director is not very good. Activities and even entertainment venues are scheduled during dinner seatings and often compete with in theater shows. For many activities staff english isn't even a second language. One had to ask ...

MSC is a No for me!

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on MSC Divina

The check-in process was easy. However, the wait to get on the ship was delayed. The ship was decorated pretty good. The only thing that bothered me a little was the decor of the Calumet buffet. The decor was of native american people done very stereotypically. All the faces were red and all had war paint on and it was just tacky. You can tell that they didn't refer to any real native Americans ...

This was our second Transatlantic Cruise [ last year we traveled with Celebrity]. We were very excited about this particular Itinerary and decided to go on our first MSC Cruise. Embarkation as well as disembarkation were super fast. Staff was always friendly. The ship was lovely , there where a few areas where the furniture is getting a little worn/ tired looking but as far as upkeep ...

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Norwegian Getaway

First off, this was only my second cruise. First cruise was on NCL over 20yrs ago. Our cruise started out from NYC, boarding was very smooth, efficient, and staff were super nice. The food in the main dining buffet (Garden Cafe) was pretty decent and a lot of options, however after 10 days the food was very bland with some exceptions like the pepper steak, ham and cheese panini. Breakfast was ...

This was our first cruise out of Manhattan and first time in NY for me. We are Gold and 6 days away from Platinum. Our first time on Getaway. Embarkation was great. We had 10-10:30 check-in and were on the ship by 11:30. Went immediately to change some dining reservations and there was a 10 minute line. Had lunch at Savor, checked in with Muster, stateroom was ready approximately 2:40 PM. ...

We recently completed a 12 night Trans-Atlantic cruise to Portugal on the Celebrity Equinox. We had a balcony cabin on deck 9 mid-ship. The entire ship and our cabin was very clean. This was one of our best cruise adventures to date! From A to Z everything was excellent! The entertainment, food quality, activities and service were really good. I can't say enough good things about ...
