"It is not really advertised very well, and it's not cheap but so worthwhile and gives you all kinds of advantages - priority boarding, a clothing package (Helly Hansen puffer jackets, waterproof pants, thermals, raincoats, rainhats, sun visors, as well as a Hurtigruten overnight bag to pack it in when you disembark), our room was made up every day with water and chocolates left on our bed, a couple of free excursions, alcohol package, a guaranteed, reserved window table for breakfast and lunch and best of all every night you can dine in the Kysten restaurant, rather than the main dining room.Nicholas and Alexandra both went above and beyond every night to ensure we had a great experience dining with them...."Read More

Even though we saw them on 3 nights, be aware - Northern lights are NOT coloured to the naked eye.
If your cabin is on the gangway side you get woken in the middle of the night with all the stops. Not enough to do on board except sit in the lounge area, some good talks and films. Board games available.

So the ship is a working ferry and it desperately needs a refurbishment. Scuffed carpet, stuffing coming out of chairs in the lounge etc. Coffee machines that don't work. The ship made roughly 20+ stops but most of them are for only 15 minutes so you cannot get off.
