We have never been on Viking and were anxious to try them. We picked this cruise because it ended in Barcelona. First, managing the pre-cruise was a nitemare. Viking was no help and the system was terrible. They sell out shore excursions to hi-end before balcony cabins have a chance. Help for figuring out covid requirements per country was non existent. This was our first cruise and we loved it. We chose Viking Homelands because friends took it and raved about it to us.
I did have trouble with sea sickness the first night out of Bergen while traveling out into the North Sea, rough waters.
The medical team took good care of me and I was fine for the rest of the trip.
