Cruised Norwegian fjords for my wife's 60th birthday.
Everything was most enjoyable except for the cabin quality. We booked together with another couple for a cabin, with porthole/outside view, but may be restricted.We all paid the same price. Hurtigruten would not provide cabin location/quality until we boarded.

Chose this due to fantastic marketing by Hurtigruten but the reality does not live up to the marketing. The Norwegian coast is not how it's portrayed in promotional material and the towns are not quaint fishing village types but industrial towns. Not very attractive. Always wanted to do this trip. Slightly disappointed with the ship and cabin as used to cruise ships. Wasn't expecting that level of luxury obviously but still disappointed. Cabin spartan and very small. Ridiculous amount of space to get around the bottom of the bed. Not enough tea\milk etc. Got fed up with asking for more. Food lovely.
