We specifically chose this cruise because of the itinerary. We were expecting a wonderful experience but from the first night on board our expectations which started very high soon went downhill fast. I was in the middle of cleaning my teeth when the water went off, no prior warning, it just stopped! After about 10 minutes it eventually came back but it was not clear and looked like coffee. ...

Chaotic Cruise in China, Korea, and Japan

Review for a Asia Cruise on Nautica

Difficult weather conditions were compounded by Nautica Purser staff struggling to efficiently deal with immigration requirements and made for a chaotic cruise. It is as if Oceania did not cruise to these ports (in China, Korea and Japan) several times each year! Many hours were required to process all passengers before they could disembark. Plus the fact that if you have not bought an Oceania ...

We did the Beijing to Hong Kong cruise. Absolute chaos at the start when our ship could not dock in Tianjin and some 600 passengers had arrived at the port. There was no one from the shipping company or the port authority who could tell us what was going on. Had we been able to have some communication explaining that fog had delayed the docking of the vessel and we would board the following ...

Worst Cruise Ever

Review for a Asia Cruise on Nautica

Disorganised staff lost us three days of shore trips and no apology. Extremely dismissive attitude: 'don't worry you'll get your money back at the end. (In USD at a very poor rate). Money back is not the issue. A trip to the Great Wall, one of the prime reasons for going, was thrown away by the crew because of bad management A botched embarkation left all passengers stranded for over a ...

We are new to Oceania and had booked what we considered to be a great N. Asia port programme. In the end so much of it just didn't happen. I guess they tried hard to overcome the problems that beset this cruise but the first requirement in crisis management should always be talk to and listen to your customers. For a large part of this cruise that just didn't seem to happen! We arrived at ...

Just got back from our curise on Nautica, it is always the best in yachting one can experience. You feel like you are at your home away from home. We are been on serveral cruises with Oceania on Nautica. The service is always top notch!!! The food is amazing and never disappoints especially Polo and Toscana. We have always taken the private tours which are also wonderful with the most ...

Our first Oceania cruise but 'seasoned' cruisers, we would sum up the experience as wonderful. First, the itinerary, because we know you are likely just like us, choosing the cruise company based on the itinerary. We wanted an over-view of Asia and that's what we got in spades! This itinerary took us to China, S.Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, Vietnam, and Thailand. Excursions is our second ...

My wife and I just completed your Ode To The Emperors cruise 3/10 to 3/31 on the Nautica. Cabin 4049. We have taken earlier cruises with Oceania and Nautica which were great experiences. Needless to say the disappointments on this 3 week cruise needed to be addressed as we are not sure all the problems were documented by the crew and staff. I don’t mean this letter to be picky as we all know ...

My Wife and I travelled on this cruise which went from Beijing to Bangkok. Reading over the reviews posted I do think reviewers have homed in on minor dissatisfactions and to make a more balanced review I decided to write this. With regard to the 'outbreak of norovirus we certainly not aware of this. I understand if an ship has a very small number of cases then they must notify the passengers but ...

Just completed a 25 day Pea rls of the Orient Cruise with Oceania. We booked the full package with Oceania to include flights which we were able to upgrade, hotel JW Marriott Beijing and Shangri La Bangkok at the end of the cruise. Oceania provided transfers to hotels and to airport. Nautica is the sister ship of the Regatta a ship we have previously sailed on with Oceania however we noticed a ...
