The cabins were beautiful with a lot of amenities. I loved the heated towels and fresh flowers among many other delightful amenities. Breakfast and lunch were buffets .They were both really good especially the lunch. Our prior uniworld cruise was so good we went again. The room on this ship was bigger with more up to date features. We choose this ship as we thought it was the top in this venue. We looked forward to cruising the Rhine. We were in the largest cabin. First thing we noticed was the paint finish rubbed off the door. Items that needed improvement:
1. The on-board musicians (husband and wife) were not of high quality. Most passengers did not enjoy. On 2 separate nites, local musicians performed and they were excellent.
2. While on ship, more activities should have been organized such as trivia contests, in depth history mini lectures, etc.

Uniworld gives you the most for your money. They might be a little more expensive then some, but all alcohol and off shore excursions are included in the price. Had a choice of 2 or 3 different excursions which was nice. The ports we stopped in were all within walking distance of the town if you wanted to spend the day on your own. Uniworld was considerate of the single traveler. There was a waiver of the single supplement which was greatly appreciated.
The staff was very astute and sensitive to the needs of all passengers. The service was exceptional. Each and every crew member from the Captain to the housekeeping staff was friendly and personable. The bar staff was charming and very accessible.
