I did a lot of research before booking this cruise. We went on a Silversea cruise last year - our first cruise - which was lovely but we decided to try another cruise line and after reading so many good reviews with comparisons made to Silversea we booked this one. I travel with my parents who are in their 80s, very sociable but my father has mobility issues. We took a lightweight travel ...
This is my second Queen Elizabeth review.
Cabin - This time we were in cabin next door to where we stayed last year. Everything was well maintained, clean, and plenty of space and storage for our 34 night cruise.
Service - impeccable everywhere.
Food - Britannia MDR breakfast lunch and dinner always hot, beautifully presented and tasty. Freedom dining works for us. No queues. Every table ...
We chose Virgin specifically for the transatlantic cruise. The value seemed outstanding for the 15-day journey.
All of the specialty restaurants were included where other cruise lines charge a premium. The galley provided a variety of food options still served by the staff, not just a buffet. And if you didn’t want to get up to choose, table service was provided.
The ship spaces, events and ...
I was a bit uncertain about this ship. It is a smaller older ship. This was also our first time taking a European cruise. Let me tell you how fantastic this cruise was. The ship is well maintained and very comfortable. The service was outstanding. The food in the main dining room as well as the Windjammer buffet was plentiful and delicious. The entertainment was top notch. There is actually a ...
We chose this itinerary because we have a cousin that moved to Portugal. She joined us on the cruise with her husband. Thanks to the great app it was the easiest embarkation we’ve ever had. We downloaded our pass, picked a time, and got on very quickly. Our room attendant (balcony room), Dennis was extremely kind and helpful the entire cruise. Our room was always clean and if we needed anything he ...
We decided to cruise to Florida from Nova Scotia this year instead of flying. We flew to Bergen, Norway and cruised on the Viking Venus to Barcelona, Spain. After 5 days in Barcelona we boarded the Celebrity Reflection to Fort Lauderdale. We had a bad experience on the Reflection a few years ago, so i was reluctant to go on it again.
This time was different. The ship was immaculate, the food ...
My husband and I have been on other cruises but this was our first experience with Celebrity.
Overall it was a very enjoyable cruise. I want to give kudos especially to Dave & Angela Clarke and their entertainment team who all worked exceptionally hard but also made it look like fun while doing so. A shoutout to Luca in particular whose stretching classes we attended each day. He was absolutely ...
This is our second transatlantic on Reflection. We like the age and grandness of her. We also enjoy being at sea. The crew are great. Our cabin steward Francisco couldn’t have been more accommodating. He was friendly and professional and always had time for us. A shout out to I Made as well. We bumped into him many times in the hallway and he was always friendly. Our food on board was very ...
First time on this cruise , grup of 12girls from Ireland ( but original from Romania)
We can't thank you enough to the staff starting from the buffet, especially Calin ( the best bufet supervisor) 5 stars and his staff are so nice our friend Ahmed, Saky and Christian..and many more , can'trememberall the names ( sorry). They are always ready to help. We had so many choices, exceeded our ...
We have over 20 cruises on Royal Caribbean, Norwegian and Carnival and our recent cruise with Virgin blew them all away. Carnival just flat out sucks but we have been loyal to RC for the majority. While Virgin doesnt have all the slides and water sports, etc, they also dont have children, long lines, and non stop barking from the cruise director over the intercom. The staff was so helpful and ...
